A small town in East Finland that has some good restaurants and local coffee shops but there is not much to do. The town is not touristic and there are not that many places to visit. However, the Botanical gardens are interesting and the Joensuu church is also worth visiting.

The city was big enough to provide all the amenities we needed without being too big. People were friendly. We could access anything within walking distance of the hotel. As cyclists, we were so happy to see so many bikes out even in winter!

Majority of inhabitants in Joensuu goes around by bicycles.
Majority of inhabitants in Joensuu goes around by bicycles. I did enjoyed going around by bike. So many nice places to visit. So many good restaurants. It is a good place to visit with a family or group of friends.
What I liked about these apartments it was bed - normal continental type bed for one person (for two - it would be to small in my opinion). Also, quite good kitchen - microwave, oven, refrigerator. Quality of internet was also quite good for me. Location also is good if you are interested visiting Joensuu.
I was in winter time when temperature at night sometimes was near -20 celsius, but I did not cold during the night, but good things about these apartments practically ends here. Of course there was tv, but I used it 0 times during workweek.
My 16-year-old son stayed at this hotel in August. I would like to thank the hotel staff for their attentive attitude to the organization of the trip, as well as to the child during their stay at the hotel. I can only give excellent characteristics to all the components of life in a hotel: a great room, a comfortable bed, a spacious bathroom, cleanliness, delicious breakfasts and friendly staff. We will choose your hotel for the next trip. Thank you very much!
This is lovely well managed Finnish hostel with local flavour. Had one room (shared kitchen and bathroom with another, no other guest appeared). I like its modesty, it does not try to look posh, like many hotels and AirBNbs. Modesty is perfoformed with style. Kitchen was well equipped to make dinner. Breakfast is good, local, eco-friendly, and personel unique, lovely. It's surely value for your money.
Central situated apartment, 2 spacious big bedrooms,a large living room.. location is a very good one, not noisy at all comparing other places where i stayed before, and a big plus was the private parking place which is SO HARD to find in joensuu city..check in was flexible, overall my stay was great and the host very responsive, i will definitely recommend it
I liked the overall atmosphere of the hotel. Very cozy yet busy with business travelers. The parking building is just across the street so there's a convenient access to your car. I found the room to be comfortable - pretty much standard quality in Finland. I slept well, so extra plus points for that. Breakfast had a variety on offer.
I liked everything. The property is at a great location very close to the center. I was in Joensuu due to a conference and this apartment is situated very close to all the spots where the conference' s events took place. Excellent access to all the stores. Very clean, comfortable, with all what you need. I feel like being at my home.
Hotel is located just the right amount from the road to not hear passing cars. Room was on the first floor facing parking lot and had a large window (lots of light), but it was very quiet outside and we had a great sleep. Probably bookable sauna helped too. Breakfast was nice as in most places in Finland. Staff was very helpful.
The hotel is right next to the center. There are plenty of restaurants around and a big supermarket. The room (on ground floor) was good but its location right next to a pedestrian street makes it necessary to close the curtains. You might want to ask for a higher floor.
1) It's a just and ordinary hotel. The room was okay, it was clean and tidy.
2) The location was great, very close to the city center where shops, cafes and restaurant were around.
3) They provided extra pillows as we requested before.
Great location, in the very centre of Joensuu, it's easy to go everywhere. The boat (and its small rooms) is charming and the staff were friendly. The bar has a nice pizza menu as well and a very nice atmosphere, especially during sunset.
Excellent and bright apartment in central location, but quiet. Apartment was very clean with all necessary amenities. Owner friendly and responsive. No complaints - Great place to stay in beautiful Joensuu!
Exceptionally pleasant hotel located in a historical building. It's located just near the Artisan's Quarter and you can city centre just in a few minutes. Had a really deep and sweet sleep there 😊
Location. Service. Price. Cleanliness, sauna. It all is simple and nice. Just the way I like it. I totally recommend this accommodation to everyone who is visiting Joensuu.
A very good hotel. The staff were very helpful with storing my bicycle. The hotel is well situated in the centre of the town and has everything you need nearby.
