A very clean hotel that is basic but meets all of your needs on the Camino. The staff are helpful and friendly. There is a washer and drying for your clothing. And the location at the centre of the Old Town and on the Camino was very useful. The attached restaurant provides a good breakfast and is nice for sitting outside and having a drink when you arrive.
Located on the Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage Route, Hotel Oca Villa de Sarria offers services to pilgrims such as bicycle parking and backpack pick-up for an extra cost.

I recently stayed at this hostel and had a generally positive experience. One of the biggest advantages of this shelter is its affordability, which is great for travelers on a budget. Additionally, the cleanliness of the facility is commendable, and I was particularly impressed by the staff’s excellent service attitude; he was both friendly and helpful.

We thought Sarria would have a lot to offer since it is a major hub for Pilgrims. The historical section is so charming and has a handful of fun restaurants and hostels. Wish it had more boutique—like hotels b/c, otherwise, Sarria seems to lack charming housing options. There is a great store at the bottom of the hill as you are about to ascend up the infamous stairs to the historical section and out of town on with your walk. They have anything one would need for the Camino and there is a great pharmacy across the street as well.

Room on the ground floor was very spacious, bright.
Room on the ground floor was very spacious, bright. Lovely hot water, clean towels and toiletries provided. If doing the Camino walk id definitely recommend this place.
Great location and friendly staff.
A lovely welcome from Monica. It was the start of our long walk and we couldn't have had a better start. Monica was very knowledgeable and obviously had great experience of hosting pilgrims along the way. She made our short stay in Sarria very memorable by her recommendations. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace t the back enjoying the lovely view to the south. We had breakfast with her in the kitchen and it felt like we had made a friend in that very short time.
Great location, right in middle of old town square, very close to Camino route but a bit further from the town main bus station if you are travelling to Sarria by bus from Lugo.
Room was clean and quiet, with all basic necessities.
Internal of hotel was also clean, and tidy.
Opposite of hotel is the police station - cannot get any better for safety, not that safety is an issue.
Highly recommended for start of Camino.
We wanted to stay between Sarria and Portomarín on our Camino journey and Casa Morgade was an exceptional choice. Beautiful surroundings, incredible host, and the meals and food were exceptional (with vegetarian options!) We stayed in a private room w a bathroom which was fabulous. Very clean and well appointed in what looked like a newly expanded wing of the property. Would absolutely stay again.
This was a fine place for us pilgrims starting out on the Camino from Sarria. I stayed with my mother in a two-bed twin room, and it was quite comfortable enough for one night. Bathroom and sleeping space were very clean, and the man at the reception was kind and helpful. Good value for the price and would stay again. Good location for a pilgrim.
Wow. Where to start? Monica was an excellent host. She provided MANY recommendation for Sarria and towns further on our path. She assisted with (and eased my nervousness about) our luggage transfer. She also served breakfast and had many treats for folks in the kitchen. The room was clean and comfortable. Wonderful stay.
I came into Sarria very late. The owner waited for me to arrive and greeted me warmly. Very kind man. Gave me lots of tips for baggage handlers during my trek to Santiago. Provided me with a Santiago password and gave me my first stamp. The single garden view room was wonderful. Clean, modern and quiet.
The apartment is beautiful and very well located, the beds are really comfortable and it has an amazing terrace with the best view of Sarria.
The apartment exceeded my expectations and it's a place I would definitely go back to.
The manager is very nice and friendly
Location location location, right in old town Sarria. Beautiful room, comfortable bed and nice shower with soaps provided. family run and seems family live in adjacent property. We didn’t try the breakfast but peered in and looked like a nice set up.
Hotel Serano is in top condition. It's right when you enter Sarria, so if you expect to have sore feet, you don't have to go that far. Opposite the hotel is a super good local restaurant with a menu of the day and really good tapas.
A lovely clean and comfortable stay - close to the bus station if travelling by bus from Santiago to Sarria - there are several bars and restaurants nearby and it's just a few minutes walk to the start of the camino from there.
The location is fantastic. The front desk staff is excellent. The facility is clean. Having a restaurant downstairs for all meals is really helpful. Food was good. It is a good 2 or 3 star hotel, but definitely not 4 star.
Location was perfect for starting the camino from Sarria. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was very plush with a terrific shower. We had the continental breakfast which stood to us for the walk ahead.
It’s a charming Hotel located in the heart of the historic district and at the end of a cul-de-sac at the top of a hill. They’re connected to a café where breakfast is served. The location is quiet and clean.
clean, comfortable and a great place to stay away from the large croon Sarria, check in was easy at the bar next door and the restaurant next door served us a great meal
What I like is the beautiful garden and great location of the hotel. The room and bathroom were clean although we had to share the bathroom with other travelers.
