We took the ferry from Mallorca to Barcelona, arriving around 8pm. Next goal was France and we wanted to get out of Barcelona but not a long drive. This hotel was perfect, right off the freeway, very clean, friendly and a decent restaurant that had dinner for us at 9:30.

The nicest place! Carmen is such a lovely host, you couldn't ask for better. We booked Mas Pla as its so close to the airport so had to leave really early. She got up at 5am to make us coffee and give us yoghurt and coffee and fresh baked cake and even sent chocolate with us for our journey! The place itself is so beautiful. Like a modern stylish farmhouse. I wish we had been there for longer. Would highly recommend this place to stay. 6 minute drive from Costa Brava Airport too! The buffet breakfast selection was exceptional in choice & display. The food was wonderful too! The pool was beautiful but the weather wasn’t warm enough for swimming. We had dinner at a restaurant on the golf complex called Bella’s - very tasty Italian food & great atmosphere crested by excellent staff. We were taken there & back in the hotel’s golf buggy - a very good service. All of the hotel staff are attentive & knowledgeable providing first class service.
