Pensión La Gaviota, hotel in Playa de Santiago

Located at Playa de Santiago Beach, Pensión La Gaviota offers stunning sea views. Free WiFi is available in all rooms. Rooms at Pensión La Gaviota come with 2 single beds and a private bathroom.

Never actually talked to or saw any staff. They were very efficient to give me the codes for the building and room prior to arrival. When we arrived to the room - the receipt for payment was on the table. There was water and a cookie on the bed. The room is very simple and small but has everything you need for a nice stay. Great location and easy free parking.

Exceptional place, excellent view, huge rooms, dreamlike balcones, cleanness, functionality, cosiness. It looks like an Austrian hotel in Tirol rather than a Canarian one.

Hotel Torre Del Conde is set in the center of Gomera’s San Sebastián, 650 ft from the marina. It features a restaurant, rooms with flat-screen TV’s and free Wi-Fi access throughout.

The hotel is well situated for the main square and amenities. A comfortable hotel and very friendly and helpful staff. Currently undergoing some improvements but will be even better once completed. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of cold and hot food choices. Would stay there again.

If you want nightlife and action, this is not the place for you. A gentle sea side location with enough restaurants to keep you entertained in the food department. Beach is black sand and pebble. Gentle shallow water. There are shops to buyy provisions (at least 2 supermarkets) and a post office but not much else in terms of shops. Nice hand made jewellery shop (although a little pricey) Ideal base location for touring the island

We stayed at the Hotel Jardin de Tecina which is a great base for exploring the island. The property is beautifully maintained with lovely gardens and good food. There are some very nice places to eat in Playa de Santiago - but our favourite is TASCA ENYESQUE. The food is delicious! It's easy to get round on foot as Playa de Santiago is quite small but a car is recommended for exploring this beautiful island.

The best tip I can give for a visit to Playa de Santiago is you must eat at the restaurant called Juan Gonzalez. The food is absolutely delicious. We ate there 3 times in one week! Playa de Santiago is a great base from which to explore the island and the beautiful walking trails. We loved the hotel Jardin de Tecina - which makes the perfect base.

Nothing too curious to tell about this place.

Nothing too curious to tell about this place. It is quite and I think you don’t have to go to La Gomera for this village. If you come to La Gomera, rent a car and know that there is a lot of hiking going on on the island. The village is a nice place to stay and near the airport.

It is a charming little town and very peaceful, but not very much to do there. You have to book tables at the restaurants beforehand because there are not very many places to eat. Only had dinner at Don Tomate and the food there was good. For lunch one day we ate at Bar Cafeteria Los Castaños that had some nice sandwiches. The third place we tried was the bakery Pasteleria Lelo. Some places was closed during Christmas. We would have liked to try out Restaurante Kuss, but could not get a table there.

Outstanding! Great ocean views and the entire bay. For those who do not have big claims, the hotel is great. The room is not very large, but very clean, large and comfortable beds, always hot water, clean linen, clean towels, for that price you get something really very good. Situated on the oceanfront and is at the center of the village. There are grocery stores, great restaurants, there is a large parking lot nearby. Visit it and you will not regret anything.

We arrived later than expected due to a later ferry but the reception was still open and we were warmly welcomed by staff at Reception. The sea view room was lovely and well worth it for the views of the sunrise from the balcony, or just sipping a drink on an evening watching the world go by. The rooftop pool and sun lounge area was also really nice and gave great views of Playa de Santiago. All in all, a lovely place to stay and will definitely be back.

Hotel Jardin Tecina is an excellent hotel, but what surprised me the most was the excellent service of their staff! All staff members were always very friendly and helpful. It was my mom's birthday, I pre-ordered a cake, everything worked just perfectly out and my mom cried tears of joys as it was an unexpected surprise. Breakfast is great, the pools are super, the view is exceptional! Would recommend everyone visiting La Gomera to stay at this hotel.

The apartment is new, equipment is new. The pool was nice and the internet was exceptional (fiber). Communication with owner uncomplicated and direct (Whatsapp chat, in English), and even though we arrived before the official check-in time, we were immediately accommodated. The location (in central Playa de Santiago) was convenient and parking plenty (a huge lot is right next to the apartment building).

I liked a lot this place and Playa de Santiago was my favourite place in La Gomera. Apartment is simple but with everything what I needed. View from the terrace was beautiful. It's quite location and place. I had some problems with my booking ( when they charged me few times ) Owner was nice and cooperative and helped me to resolve this problem with Booking. Thank you for nice stay and help.

Location and the beautiful seaside town with great restaurants nearby. The beds and linen were superb. Spacious bathroom and great balcony. The Mountain View is really a car park view. A relaxed armchair in the salon would be a bonus. However the chairs on the airy corridor were ideal reading spots. Without doubt this friendly hotel is blessed with warm and friendly staff.
