Wonderful helpful hosts who with their enthusiasm for Rioja region made some wonderful suggestions to make our stay a memorable visit. We had the pleasure of enjoying a superb evening meal by proprietor chef Jose it’s a experience not to be missed, breakfast was great with attention to detail and accommodated my food intolerances of non dairy and gluten free ,we will certainly return. The boutique hotel has a quirky theme of theatre which adds to the ambience each room having a unique theme, decoration throughout is immaculate .

Very traditional Spanish hotel & decor.

Very traditional Spanish hotel & decor. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere & staff. Evening meal was Menu del dia at €14.95 & was very enjoyable!. I was concerned it might be noisy as on a main road & hotel seemed fairly busy, but that was not the case. Plenty of room to facilitate all customers & I didn't notice any noise from guests or road once I was in bed! Room clean, beds comfortable & location just off main motorway was great & very convenient for us. I would definitely recommend this place & use again on our travels.

I needed a hotel close to the motorway and within striking distance of Bilbao port where I was catching a ferry from next day. It was perfectly positioned and although there was no facilities within a short distance of it, nevertheless it had an adequate restaurant, clean room and suited our needs.

it’s right next to the motorway, and simply perfect for staying over on the way (I stayed here a few times before). they allow dogs. the staff is nice. and they have a reasonable restaurant/bar. there is nothing very exciting around, but it beats being in a chain hotel along the motorway by miles!

Location was perfect...just off main motorway. Dinner great. Breakfast good, although pretty basic. Croissants, toast, fresh orange, coffee & biscuits, but plenty to keep us going until lunch. Staff lovely. Hotel very traditional style, but great for a one night stop over.

The hotel looks a little tired in some respects but it is clean and comfortable. The staff, one man appears to do everything from reception to waiting on tables in the restaurant, was cheerful and helpful.
