A wonderful, peaceful and very comfortable stay on the main street of Molinaseca. It was perfect after a long day on the Camino. The bed was incredibly comfortable; the bathroom was modern with a fantastic shower and ample, good quality toiletries. Ana was so warm and welcoming. I would love to stay here again and again.

Molinaseca is a lively town.
Molinaseca is a lively town. A lot of excellent restaurants, bars and hostels. Mountains and a river surround it. Through a nice track, 3 km away, there are two Roman bridges. It's nice for a morning walk. I saw 2 deers this morning.

The owner Raul was such a character.
The owner Raul was such a character. He explained everything to us as the buffet breakfast was self service. He was delighted that we were staying for 3 nights as a lot of people probably only stayed overnight on their pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela The room was spotless and a decent bathroom made the stay very comfortable. He ran the supermarket within the building and his brother Jorge ran a nearby restaurant. The brothers could not be more helpful. Our party were given a signed bottle of wine on our departure. A really nice touch.

Also, the hotel occupied a great location being at the far end of the town on the path of the Camino. Ample drinking water was provided and available in the refrigerator in our room. The grounds seemed well tended and pretty. We preferred to sit in the sun by the river at the hotels near the bridge in the center of town.
