The hosts went our of their way to get us settled, answer any questions and then on departure they even drove us to the nearest taxi rank. They were kind, friendly and full of smiles! The accommodation is one of a kind, more of an experience than a stay, if that's what you are after (as a writer myself it was exactly what I wanted - very inspiring) & the view is outstanding. The sea on your doorstep. I would watch what season you travel though, as we had a windy night & it felt like we were being rocked to sleep as the gusts kicked up!

The apartment was lovely, we liked the complex and the area. Wouldn’t have hesitated to go back again apart from the fact that one week after we got home we were asked to pay a bill for damage to two patio doors. One of these doors was already damaged when we arrived and the other was fine the whole time we were there and definitely not broken when we left. This accusation left us with a very bad taste and certainly soured our experience. This apartment was probably the best one that we have been to in Tenerife, but the manner in which we have been blamed for these so called damages has made it almost impossible for us to ever return there.

We stayed here in an emergency as our flight was cancelled during the Air Traffic Control crisis. There is not a great deal to do in the local Area. But you can commute via taxi or bus to the next village of El MedanoCeriUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10
La Tejita offers full comfort with enough room for a family...
La Tejita offers full comfort with enough room for a family of four. The whole building is quiet and clean. Beds are comfortable and living room is big enough for lazy evenings. There is also a washing machine, so you don't have to worry to run out of clean clothes when hiking, swimming… The area is quiet, everything you need (supermarket, bar, restaurant) is close by. The outdoor pool is clean, rarely crowded and big enough to do some easy exercise or for small children to play in. The kitchen furniture offers everything to prepare breakfast or simple meals. Other parts of the island are easily accessible from La Tajita and parking space in the garage is a real comfort. We enjoyed 11 unforgettable nights in La Tajita and would not hesitate to visit it again. Lena was a great host, thank you Lena :)LukaSlovenia - 10Scored 10

La Tejita is located in a quiet area very close to the resort of Medano. There is a local shopping complex with a supermarket, launderette, hairdressers and several restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance of all of the accommodation. It is very close to the coast with several sandy beaches. A 5 Euro taxi ride, will take you to Los Abrigos or Medano which has all the shops and nightlife.MikeUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

La Tejita has a very nice beach close to the accommodation, which is close to a supermarket, good Mexican restaurant and Montana Roja. The owners are very friendly and understanding. We found everything we needed in the villa, which is close to a private pool with shower. Peaceful place, perfect for rest and family vacations. The weather is perfect, warm for December, we will definitely be back.
