The location, the size and layout of the house, the comfortable seating and beds and the cool, private patio were great.

Central location with included wine tour and also possible to taste additional wines afterwards. Wine was very reasonable so we bought a few bottles. Great communal rest area and kitchen with fridge, hot plate, microwave and oven. We used this alot as La Florida restaurant was closed and when it was open served food at 8pm which was a bit late for us. Drove to LaGuardia lovely medieval town lots of restaurants ( remember to eat before 3:30 or wait until 8pm as all closed in the middle of the day). We walked up the hill behind the Valdelana to l’ermitage ( lovely picnic area and even has a BBQ). Marquis de Riscal vineyard with unusual Gaudi building is also walkable (10mins)from hotel, handy if you don’t want to worry about drinking and driving.

Great location for getting to the Masque de Riscal vineyard, literally about an 8min walk. Considering what we have paid for other hotels on our Europe trip this has been by far the most expensive and all our other hotels have been of a much higher standard and finish, however I understand that this one likely sits at a premium due to its location and there not being many other options about. We can’t complain for the night we were there. The owner was lovely and very nice and helpful and we were able to park our two motorbikes around the back where they were safe for the night.

The Marquis de Riscal winery tour was very good and the wines were all good to excellent. La Florida cafe was quite affordable with the daily special consisting of an appetizer, a main, dessert, water, wine (a whole bottle for two) and bread costing 12.50 €.

This was our first stop whilst touring on motorcycle to see the real Spain, couldn't have had a better introduction to the country and its friendly helpful people. Any bikers using the bilbao or santander ferries should include this hotel, the roads off the main highway are excellent and the locals so helpful.
A superbe breakfast, orange juice, tea /coffee, fresh hot toast, and the most delicious home-made cake. The family made us feel extrememly welcome, could answer any questions. This small hotel is attached to the Rojanda winery, so wine tasting and sale of wine available. There is a lovely courtyard and an incredibly productive vegetable garden. Easy acces to many wineries and very pretty villages in this particular part of the Rioja region. Parking immediately in front of the hotel.
The hotel is very well located, just next to the main square and the touristic information office, where you have an outdoor parking where you can leave your car. The room is very spacious and was very clean. The mattress was quite nice but the pillow was hard as wood. The bathroom is also very spacious and even has an hairdryer. There were some weird smells close to elevator and in the reception floor.
-Location was within walking distance from all of the main attractions in the village.
-Room was clean, comfortable, and had a very nice view from the terrace.
-Hotel was quiet and relaxing.
-Staff were friendly and quick to respond to any questions.
-It makes a great base for touring the area.
Of course, the amazing designed hotel is a treat to the eyes. This is complemented by amazingly comfortable beds and well appointed rooms. Loved the touch of a complimentary bottle of wine on entering the room. Enjoyed using the complimentary bikes to ride through vineyards
Had the entire house to ourselves. This was a treat. We stayed for one night on a road trip through La Rioja and Aragón. The house is lovely and warm. The bathrooms are well maintained. It is nice to have a fridge and self serve breakfast. The staff was incredibly helpful.
Hospitable and helpful staff, charming rooms, and an amazing, quiet, and peaceful location. We arrived at very late night hours but were properly welcomed and settled. Many thanks to the hosts and beautiful Elciego. Enthusiastically recommended place.
The hotel just had a really cool atmosphere. It's right across the street from a bar where you can have tapas and drinks and is a short walk from the center and all the other bars in town. A great gem of a place to find in such a small town.
Beautiful hotel surrounded by vineyards, in small village with nice church. Very attentive staff, great facilities, good restaurant. Breakfast was brought to the table and very good.
We so enjoyed staying at this hotel. Excellent value and the wine tour is not to be missed. Having a community kitchen was such a bonus. The staff couldn’t have been better.
Very friendly and helpful staff. The free wine tour was very interesting and included wine tasting and a visit to the vineyard. Free parking available opposite the hotel.
