Early departure from Alicante & wanted somewhere close to the airport. Chose Hostal Penismar as all reviews recommended it & was certainly true. We had triple single bedded room, comfortable bed, asked for extra pillows & they were bought to room immediately.
Bathroom was very clean & modern. Good pressure shower & plenty of hot water.
Would definitely stay again & highly recommend.
We had food in the evening in a bar just minutes away & was also very good.

Beach near by and by the looks there was a place to buy oranges from too 🥰
Very close to the beach if you like a quiet one.
Bus transport available - 5 mins to Alicante centre, 10 mins to Elche bus - > the same bus is also travelling to the Airport and it`s only EUR 1.55
Rooms were really good size and the outside area would be great to sit in on the normal season.

The hotel was ok, although only 5 mins from the airport, its very difficult to get there on public transport. Taxi say 27 euros. Nice little quiet town, despite being close to the airport, lots of places to eat, grab a coffee etc. the staff at hotel were friendly, but having believed breakfast was included I was looking for ward to it in the morning before I carried on my journey, I was informed that a breakfast was not booked, despite my booking say breakfast was included.

Hotel was ideally situated for the Airport '6-7 mins' was basic but was clean and tidy. Friendly and helpfull staff on reception. There is a large fridge to enable out of ours drinks etc in reception. Breakfast is provided if you so desire but is not cooked.

Very close to the airport for an early flight taxi was ordered by reception we got 4 taxis to and from the airport twice and it varied from 10-80€ to 15.30 € it’s about a 5 minite drive the hotel is basic but clean and at 50€ for a room good good value for money

The staff were friendly and patient with my very limited Spanish. They organised a taxi at 5am to take us to the airport, and it turned up promptly. The restaurant seemed to be popular, it served up typical Spanish dishes and was reasonably priced. It took approx 25 mins to walk to the beach, which had no facilities but was a great stretch of golden sands backed by dunes.

It has been easy to get to the Hostal from Alicante airport by bus (line 1B). The hostal is very clean, the cleaning service is great and all the staff is very kind. The beds were comfortable, in the bathroom all worked properly and air conditioner worked well too. Closed to the hostal you can find many shops. Food at the hostal´s reastaurant was delicious. I had a great stay indeed and I will come back to Hostal El Alter in the future. Thank you for all.
