We knew this was a family run hotel but never thought we would feel like the extended family. The location was just the job for a relaxing but most enjoyable September break. The A la carte 5 course dinner every evening was eagerly anticipated. Without exception every meal was top notch. The staff were extremely attentive 24/7. Most of the clients were returning customers and feel sure we will also be booking a return trip.We never usually book half board but so glad we did on this occasion. With a view across the salt lakes from the front of hotel and an excellent pool and dining area to the rear, also has an excellent pool bar and spa. The owners were constantly on site, often chatting to us at dinner making sure we were happy with the service and enjoying the hotel amenities. Thanks everyone for making this holiday one to remember.

We enjoyed walking along the beaches to the north and south...
We enjoyed walking along the beaches to the north and south of the town. One day we took the boat to the island of Cabrera and enjoyed walking along a track towards the other side of the island. There are numerous places to swim along these coastlines, the water being very clear. We liked the quiet atmosphere in the town that has a good number of restaurants, cafés and shops, dotted around, including the central area of the town.

A very nice holiday destination.
A very nice holiday destination. I came to attend Best Fest, an open water swimming event. Colonia Sant Jordi is a wonderful destination if you want to swim, cycle, run, go walking or just relax on the beach. It felt a safe place to stay and everyone seemed so friendly.

I love that it doesn't attract loud brash tourists.
I love that it doesn't attract loud brash tourists. It is very unspoilt & real Mallorcan Culture shines through. The food is fantastic & the beaches are stunning. The waters are gorgeous for swimming & there are some lovely boat trips from the port. We visited the beautiful island of Caberra & the Blue caves. The Gelateria is a must place to visit!

Having owned a family property in Colonia for over 18 years,...
Having owned a family property in Colonia for over 18 years, the town is (in my opinion) one of the best places to holiday in the entire Med. The beaches are famous for a reason and during peak season they can get busy, however, if you’re willing to walk a little further, your own private beach (essentially) awaits you. A must is Es Trenc and Es Carbo. The water is crystal clear and the marine life sublime. It is not uncommon to see sting rays, jelly fish and fish just off the beach.
The town itself is broken down into the high street and the port. A short walk away from each other, they offer cuisine and bars for all. Everywhere I have ever been has been accommodating of all nationalities and make you feel welcome and special. A must for food is Laos Club, 5 illes, Cassai Beach House and Marisol. It can be quite expensive but the quality is out of this world. Be sure to book in advance.
A secret of Colonia is by the Hotel Sur Mallorca, where there are steps into the sea, where an old tour boat used to dock. Enjoy floating around in the sea and the amazing marine life such as octopus that are commonly seen. This is also the best spot to see the sunset from in the whole of Colonia.
For sun rise, take a walk down to the port and make your way around to Es Carbo. Regardless what time of year, I can guarantee it will be almost deserted.
It’s a 5* destination.

The hotel is close to the water and the beach there was perfect. It was small but there was another side to the bay that had more of a secluded beach.
The food was phenomenal for a hotel. So many options for both breakfast and dinner. I loved that drinks were included in the breakfast.
The pools were very nice and it was great that there was plenty to do. We were only there two days and we were able to play a bit of paddle and swim. Looks like there’s lots of activities for kids as well.
Best hotel we stayed in Spain. It is a great resort, great facilities, lots of activities, good breakfast, rooms were confortable with very good balcony. Location was good as well if you have a car. It is a family hotel, but as a couple we also enjoyed a lot. Pools were huge, good bar service and the food at the bar was also good. There is an access to the beach and in this beach there is a restaurant complex which is very nice. Also a mini market right outside de hotel, very practical.
To me this hotel should be 4 starts and not 3! :) We asked for all inclusive package. The food choice was amazing. The service was great. The room was perfect size and very comfortable for a long staying. We will definitely go back. The people who work at this hotel have real service vocation, totally recommend this hotel to anyone who would like to have a relaxing and family friendly environment.
Very welcoming host, came extra to bring a bed fot our child at 8 pm in the evening.
Nice area in town to stay, with plenty of beaches (White sand!) less then a 10 min walk away, the nearest about 3 min. Nice and quiet neighbourhood (in October).
Near the harbour, with its nice atmophere and restaurants.
Lots of places for children to play safely near the (nearby) beach of cala galiota.
Lovely hotel for an on-site stay. The large pool was fun, but also nice to have the smaller pools, which were less busy and good for a little proper swimming. The food was very good, both the buffet breakfast and dinner, and the bar lunches. Short walk to the beach/small port area but not much else without a car. Staff were friendly, especially the ladies at the poolside bar.
Fantastic hotel with a wonderful rooftop pool and bar! The staff was very helpful. The breakfast and dinner is amasing. The breakfast coffee is the best I have ever drunken in a hotel. Fresh orange juice. The hotel is 50 m from the beach with a magnificent view to the sea.
The apartment was easy to access with instructions from the host. Location close to the seaside. Also very proximate to famous beaches. We also appreciated the private parking. From the apartment, we appreciated the bathroom, modern and quite spacious.
The 2 brothers that run the hotel are very friendly, they will do everything to make you feel in a 5-star hotel.
The breakfast is very good.
The hotel location is good, not far from the places of interest and not close so that it is noisy.
The owners and staff were so friendly and were happy to have us. They were very accommodating. The hotel was beautiful and sat perfectly within a large nature reserve. I'm so happy we stayed there and I would reccomend it to anyone.
Nice and large flat that was clean when we arrived.
Flat with AC that is great during the summer.
The hotel is 2 min walking distanve from a nice beach with one of the best sunset view in palma.
Swiming pool is small but cosy
Beautifully decorated apartment with patio. Super location close to wonderful Caribbean like beaches. Also, center of Sant Jordi with bars and restaurants within walking distance. The service was outstanding🤩 👏🏽 we loved it🥰
The hotel was situated in a very cute town, very easy access but it is more of a quiet spot. The terrace upstairs had a nice view and the espresso Martinis were yum!
Great destination for holidays in Mallorca, beautiful beech and modern hotel. Good food and professional staff. Highly recommended for couples and bigger families.
