The area had a convenient supermarket and we were a short walk to the beach. There were a few bars and restaurants but a couple of them were not open. The beach was busy most days especially in the evenings. Quiet and residential also with a nice marina area. Great walking next to the sea everyday. The marina was interesting.I loved seeing the authentic houses instead of blocks of flats. Local people were friendly. Everything is at hand. I ate in a good fish restaurant and a good Italian one; both on the sea front. The prices are good. The bar Manolo is very good value. I stayed for three nights and that was perfect for this time of year.

The seafront is fantastic with beaches and sea that are regularly cleaned with lots of facilities such as changing areas and toilets plus lifeguards. the promenade which stretches for miles in both directions is beautiful and takes you into the busier resort of Torre Del mar with all of its shops, bars and restaurants. Absolutely lovely little fishing/leisure port, where everyone takes the time to say hello. Lots of bars,chiringuitos, and little restaurants to explore. We have sampled a few and will definitely be back. Value for money all the way and takes your thoughts back to how Spain used to be 25 years ago. Check it out!!!TerrySpain
