The buffet breakfast selection was exceptional in choice & display. The food was wonderful too! The pool was beautiful but the weather wasn’t warm enough for swimming. We had dinner at a restaurant on the golf complex called Bella’s - very tasty Italian food & great atmosphere crested by excellent staff. We were taken there & back in the hotel’s golf buggy - a very good service. All of the hotel staff are attentive & knowledgeable providing first class service.

All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Great 2 course meal for 25-29€ in the restaurant consisting of turbot and griddled sirloin steak. And I delicious bottle of Barcelona Priorat wine or very reasonable €21. We have on the new rooms Super comfy bed, excellent shower and nicely decorated. Thermal pool what’s right and somewhere safe to store my electric bike. Thoroughly recommend this place for an overnight or a couple of nights stay

The high rating does not lie. Unique place and atmosphere. It's a pity that we could only stay 1 night. It is worth going for a longer time both with children (hurry up, the owner's dog couple has 8 adorable puppies) and without little ones to enjoy wine, local delicacies, beautiful countryside views and the authentic atmosphere. The hotel was very impressive when we walked in - shiny, modern and clean. It was also three minutes drive from Girona Airport. The room was a good size with a large comfortable bed. The furniture was cheap and below the standard you would expect in a four star hotel eg tiny tv on a small desk. The toilet was difficult to flush and no toilet brush. Tea and coffee making in the room was limited - no milk and only scented herbal tea. We managed to persuade reception to find some breakfast tea, having found two bags they then wanted our room number as we walked away! The room and bathroom smelt of cigarettes throughout. A large window opened onto a garden and a pool but when opened the noise of a busy motorway 100 metres away could be heard. Dinner was acceptable but the breakfast was poor. The hot breakfast was inedible, the fried and scrambled eggs had been cooked for a long time and had become cold. The bacon was in a tray of grease. When we checked out the receptionist tried quite hard to overcharge us for drinks with dinner. The shuttle from and to the airport was an aged car that needed a clean and the driver was of little help unloading at the airport even though I was on crutches with a broken ankle.
