The biggest problem was finding the hotel - postcodes in Spain cover way too big an area and often the street location information seems to be in a local language variant and not accepted by a SatNav device. All this coupled with the fact that few people speak English makes finding hotels a bit of a problem.

The room - although the decor was a little tired - was clean and well provided with towels for example. The menu for the evening meal was really good value. Plenty to eat for breakfast for €8. So it has a lot of atmosphere. Breakfast is OK and the staff is friendly. As the hotel is situated in the middle of the old city of Calatayud, next to the tourist office, the location is perfect. Also the room was very quiet; I didn't hear the noise in the restaurant.PPietNetherlands

We were relaxing in our room when water started to drip through the ceiling onto our bed. the staff were brilliant. We (and others) were immediately allocated new rooms. The staff continued to serve whilst trying to clear up the mess. they were brilliant.

It's spacious, quiet & well located and the communication with our friendly and helpful host was great. Although the apartment is on the 4th floor there's an elevator available if needed. We found Calatayud an interesting city to visit and the Museo is well worth a visit.
