Unique location, almost a magic place. So many things to discover both on the premises but also in the house. Architecture, furniture and atmosphere are fascinating. Best breakfast we have ever enjoyed, in a perfect historic setting. Feels like genuinely being a guest of the family.

Alpens is a small, almost sleepy village with a lot of history. The atmosphere is special, with all the old houses.
There is a small supermarket and a bakery that also sells some vegetables and groceries. Alpens is not a place to go shopping.
The area is beautiful. If you like walking or hiking, this is the place to go. You can walk for hours.
