If you want to step out of cultural tours, take a Nile cruise by felucca, spot wildlife in Wadi Digla desert park or visit Egypt’s top theme parks: Dream Park and Magic Land, where you can tour Egyptian TV studios.
Before heading to your Cairo accommodation, sample the local cuisine – the falafel and fuul (bean paste) are delicious. Turkish coffee is a staple and there are hundreds of shisha bars, while major Cairo hotels have bars serving alcohol.

Es gran, molt gran i cada cop menys caótic de com el vaig coneixer fa 30 anys. Qui hi va per primer cop el trova molt brut, pero ha millorat molt en neteja. No es per rés del mon una ciutat insegura, jo no mi he sentit mai insegur, la gent es molt amable. Uns et pregunten d'on est per intentar vendra-t quelcom, altres només per preguntar-te com es Barcelona i molts i tenen, o diuen que hi tenen, amics o conegut que han vingut a viure a Barcelona. El nou Museu de la Civilització on hi han portat les momies es magnífic i ara cal esperar que obrin el nou museu per tornar hi (son 2 museus diferents, no confondre)
