The breakfast was excellent with very good bread and freshly-laid eggs. We were offered enough food that we could take packed lunches for a picnic later. Guests are provided with a fridge where they can buy beer, soda, etc. Our hosts were most welcoming. There isn't much accommodation available in this part of North Jutland, and Tjørnley provided a vital overnight stay on our cycle tour along this part of EuroVelo 3.

The location is great, and the room is spacious and fairly light. The hostel is surrounded by greenery, and the outlook from the (well-equipped, big and very useful) kitchen is gorgeous, also in the winter when we were there. All the rooms surround a big, communal space/inner "courtyard" with plants and furniture, which would be very nice for bigger groups visiting. The breakfast was lovely, and we had a cosy Danish breakfast with "rundstykker" - and a table laid just for us.

Unfortunately something went wrong with our booking for this night so we stayed at a friend of Susanne instead as we stayed only for the night after arriving from the ferry. This was also a lovely place to stay at the farm Norrgard. Comfortable beds. Thank you for the bottle of wine on arrival. This was a good solution.
