Location, room, service, the host and especially breakfast was exceptional. Only 'but' is that you need to go outside to go to the bathroom if you live at the annex in the garden. Overall it was a great stay though and we would probably come back.

The food was fantastic and the hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. They have beautiful gardens outside and the decor was really lovely on the inside. Everything was spotless and in great condition. The main bed had one of the most comfortable mattresses. The little bed by the window was a very cozy place to sit and read and enjoy a cool breeze through the window. It's a perfect place to relax and enjoy a quiet Danish town. We absolutely loved it! Thanks Patrick and Trine!

Svendborg is a lovely seaport with great seafood.
Svendborg is a lovely seaport with great seafood. During the summer the harbour is filled with many interesting old, wooden, sea craft and there are many restaurants and bars close by. A ferry to the neighbouring island of Æreø departs from the harbour every 1-2 hours. The small town of Ærøskøbing on this island is well worth a visit. This place is like something out of a Walt Disney movie. Cobbled streets are lined on both sides with beautiful houses all of which seem to date from 1700-1800's with odd ones dating back even earlier.

Beautiful little town. We arrived on a Friday late afternoon and it was great to be in a lively city after days in the country side. We really enjoyed walking around the harbour, where there was plenty of choice for drinks and food. Downtown was lovely too.EliseUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

We were supposed to move to Odense, but we fell in love with Svendborg and decided to look for an apartment here. It is a truly magical place with its good people. It fits old and young just perfectly. Great architecture. Can't wait to celebrate Christmas here

Big appartment on the first floor of what used to be a hotel and restaurant. 3 comfortable bedsrooms and a huge living room with kitchen facilities. Nice old building, big billird table downstairs in the lobby. Enough free parking. Very friendly owner, whose hobby it is to collect beaautiful old sportscars.
