Nice Hotel, Car Parking at the Property. Staff, friendly and helpful.
This design hotel lies in the Au-Haidhausen district of Munich, just 700 metres from the German Museum. It offers a trendy 24-hour bar, underground parking and free Wi-Fi.
We enjoyed a great 3-night stay at Landaus Sixtmühle, with the hotel giving easy access into Munich (by train, with an easy walk to the station) and very pleasant surroundings. Our host was very friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed a substantial breakfast each morning in the very attractive dining room. The room and hotel in general was spotless, and facilities provided were good value for the price. The lounge area with self-serve drinks and snacks was an welcome added bonus.
There was a reasonable selection of restaurants very close by.
We chose this Hotel to get away from the tourist crowd. The hotel was exceptional from the moment we entered the lobby. We were able to experience normal/daily activities. The hotel had an extremely nice restaurant that the locals used, and had a nice selection of German meals. We were within walking distance of a rustic gasthaus that served excellent food, with very reasonable pricing. We had a very rich and rewarding stay here.
The front desk staff were very helpful and kind. Most could speak English. The room had lots of storage space. There is an elevator and free parking! The walk to the train station is not bad at all. It was nice to have a dinner option in the hotel because other options are at least 0.3 mile away. There are common spaces available to hang out with friends.
Our room was on the second floor at the back of the hotel, facing park, so very quiet. The hotel is family led with a great breakfast. The room was very spacious, During out stay it was very hot, the room has no airco, but we survived with putting the room open during the night.
Nice spacious very clean room with good mattress. Good Landgasthof-style restaurant with traditional Bavarian dishes (difficult for vegans!). Many travelling business people staying at the hotel during the week.
We didn't stay long, we booked last minute and staff were very accommodating. This is a true four star hotel, high quality fixtures and fittings, VERY comfort beds. Breakfast was great.
