Not somewhere to go on your summer holidays but well located for travellers who need somewhere to stay near the motorway on the way north (we came from skiing in Austria). Comfortable, warm, plenty of hot water so no complaints. Booked into restaurant next door which was good

I've been coming to Saarlouis for years, as I play music there regularly. The old part of town reminded me of the French Quarter of New Orleans on my first visit, tho it is a microcosm of that. Charming French architecture, and interesting history. The original fortifications from the Napoléonic wars are well preserved and worth a visit. A very multi cultural town, where you will often hear more French than German.

Vert nice city to visit.
Vert nice city to visit. We stayed only one night but we where lucky enough and there was a festival there, lots of people on the streets, food, drinks and live music. It was something that was not planned, we wanted to stay in Trier but couldn't find a hotel. It ended up a total surprise due to the festival there but also the city is very nice to visit A big park where you can walk and a lot of young people. Of course fire works at midnight...after that i don't remember...blame the beer :))
The apartment has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The owners are extremely caring and incredibly nice people. The apartment was very clean, the kitchen had everything needed, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was big, extremely clean and tidied, had two types of a shower and was really comfortable. The apartment has 20 minutes walk to the center of Saarlouis, which is a very peaceful walk and by a car 7-10 minutes.
And for the owners: Thank you for making our stay unforgettable by caring for us!
See you soon!
The C'Est La Vie was as we expected and the lady who showed us the room was very pleasant. We did ask for a quiet room which it was even though the view was just of the fire escape. The bedroom and bathroom were immaculately clean. The immediate area is pedestrian only and the local underground car park was just a five minute walk away and the hotel was easy to find. The immediate area around the hotel was full of restaurants and will probably get noisy at night. We decided not to stay, and headed off to to Calais.
I was using for business trip and I think it's a good place to stay if your visiting Saarlouis or the region near Luxembourg. The town is very nice, for 35000 people I think it's a very nice town, you find the essence of German/french small towns in Saarlouis.
I liked that the manager spoke English and had patience and was very polite and very helpful.
I liked that the rooms had eco friendly lightsbulbs.
I liked that it was clean
It had free parking
I liked the breakfast
The receptionist was really nice, the check in was quick and easy. The room was exactly what I choice and everything was clean.
The room was cozy and the bed really comfortable.
We park in the garage where the hotel have an agreement and everything goes well.
The location of the hotel is really close to the train station like 5 minutes walking and around 15 minutes walking to the downtown.
The location is very convenient (very close to the train station, yet far enough where it is not too loud, and a 20-minute walk to the city center), the hotel clean, and the staff very friendly. The breakfast is amazing, as are the bar and restaurant open for dining in the evenings. It is the best hotel option around.
My room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the breakfast buffet plentiful (at least at 7:00). Very friendly team from reception to restaurant. Walking distance from the train station. Quiet room even on the street side. For me, still one of the best hotels in Saarlouis.
My son is very interested in exploring mines underground, and this is a great mining-themed hotel. The decor certainly tells a very important part of the region's history.
the hotel was designed and made with love. everything has taste, style and very cosy.
the art is beautiful and the food was amazing.
