Three of us were stuck in Munich because of the snow shutting down Munich airport for 2 days. Hotels in Munich were $400 and up so I found this place online that was about 30 minutes outside of Munich. It was a GREAT find!!!

The breakfast buffet is awesome. The location is great if you have a car, not so if you depend on transport. It is a village of Puchheim is just outside of Munich. Behind the hotel is a beautiful hiking/jogging trail through the woods of the Parsberg hill and to the Germering lake. The price was good for a hotel that is so relatively close to Munich, there is a train station near by, so it's easy to get to and from Munich if that's why you're there.
