I was there for the nearby steam railway. There is a very nice restaurant at Sellin Ost railway station, handy when you are waiting for a train. I would recommend Ostseebad Sellin for the railway - probably is is good for the other things as well, but those are not my concern.VicUnited Kingdom

There was no elevator, but the description addressed that. Also, there was no shampoo in the rooms but since Germans on vacation would be coming (not typical for Americans), they would probably know to bring their own... The family that own it bent over backwards to help us with any and everything! We would go back in a heartbeat!!! The location was near the beach but also near restaurants and shopping. Awesome and tasty restaurant, we don't need to look anywhere for a dinner. All staff was very pleasent and friendly, room was perfectly clean and well equiped. Good private parking place in front of hotel. We also received a spa card with which we could travel around the area for free by bus, bustrain, ships... Really nice family hotel where they care about you :)

The amenities are great, the kitchen is well equipped and the staff taking care of the apt is friendly. I was in touch with the owners as the Umbrella on the Balcony broke over night due to storm and the contact with the owner was also very nice. The place was overall clean! The parking situation is ok, the driveway is narrow, so either you are a good driver or leave the car outside :D
