Clean, modern hotel, comfortable beds, nice shower and bathroom, and a great breakfast. The perfect stopover. Last time we had dinner at the brilliant Brauhaus just next door (rack of ribs so big that my husband could not finish it!) but they were fully booked this time so we walked 15 mins into Merzig and had a lovely pizza at Sant Angelo.

The food in the restaurant was also really good, as was the breakfast. We booked on the same day as our arrival and the hotel was very accommodating. A kettle was brought to our room upon request and there was plenty of room to put a baby travel cot up.
