This property has actually two parts: a hostel and a pub/diner. The hostel part is adequate. The rooms are simple, without much luxuries, but they are comfortable and are not missing anything either. The pub part is very good. It has a good ambience, good beer and the best schnitzels I've ever had and very friendly staff. You can see the patrons are mostly locals, which is a good sign. I really recommend having dinner here. The location is quite convenient to reach by car. Only 15 minutes from the center of Trier.

Nice, reasonable size room. Very good shower. Bathroom with hooks to hang clothing (many hotel seem to forget this basic requirement); thick doors to prevent noise from the corridor. Excellent breakfast. Location is close to the river moesel. A nice path at the back leads you to the center of town. Great for walking, running or cycling.

I really liked that upon arrival at the hotel, the reception informed about the events in the city! It was a wine event! We had a very wonderful evening at the wine event! The staff were excellent throughout…very welcoming and gave helpful advice. Great location for all Trier sights and restaurants. The courtyard is a lovely space to eat, or just sit and read. BTW Trier is a must see city.
