From Herzogenrath you can easily take the train to Aachen, 15 minutes top. You can park your car at the station. The apartment was indeed cosy, meaning very small spaces, connected to eachother. With 3 people it was okay, more and you would not fit in the 'living cube' my son called it. For a weekend it was a great stay.

We took the bus right outside the door. Easy walk for morning pastry and coffee just up the street. The restaurant was very good for dinner and their outdoor patio was very relaxing and comfortable. Staff was very helpful with questions.
