If you like being in the country but within easy commute to Munich this is a great place. Additionally, the Pension (B&B) has an excellent restaurant and pub. Bus 965 is a two minute walk that takes you to Gauting Station and using the S6 line gets you to Munich in about 30 min. The use of MVG’s tickets allows unlimited public transport in and around Munich!PaulUnited States of America

It's situated in a quiet part of the small town of Gauting, which has excellent SBahn 6 links with Munich and the surrounding area. Everything was perfect - clean room, good shower,ample breakfast, cheerful and helpful staff,who conversed in English if required.
