Lovely place with nice main square and city center with decent restaurants. Main place to visit is the monastery and an old wooden church. It is close to Adršpach and great places for hiking and climbing. In Broumov there is a nice pet shelter (for dogs and cats).

The landscape around Broumov (both in CZ and PL) is packed with picturesque sandstone formations surrounding really pleasant cultural landscape. As it has been a periphery for a long time, the towns and villages have a well preserved historical identity. Adršpach and Hejsovina (that might be REALLY crowded at times) aside, the place is not overcrowded by visitors. Highly suggestible.
Depending on where you come from, its best to get to some village/ town on rail by private car, most of the nice places are accessible by local trains and/or busses.

Nice market. A very interesting Benedictine monastery.
Nice market. A very interesting Benedictine monastery. I recommend guided tours (especially the baroque church and library). It is worth visiting the oldest wooden cemetery church in the Czech Republic. The restaurant next to the church you can have a good meal at a good price.
We had a truly great stay. The owner is a nice, chatty lady who will gladly provide a lot of info and insight on the region, its history, stuff to do. The house has a lot of charm and character and walking trails to the stunning Broumovske steny start right by it. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Make sure you venture to Broumov (approx 40min walk), have a wonder around the monastery (they do late evening tours!), see the oldest wooden church in CEE and more!
The appartment is just perfect, right in the city centre, close to everything. Very clean, light and spacious. It has everything one needs and more - quite a lot of emergency food. The lady met us at the entrance just as agreed on. The price was convenient. Beds were extra comfortable.
The surroundings are great, Broumov is definitely worth visiting. Very nice pub round the corner, great cafe in the monastery (5min walk), beautiful hiking tours to the rocks.
The breakfast is exceptional. It's amazingly variable fresh and tasty. The common space inside is similar to the castle with high ceilings and wonderful cosy atmosphere at the same time. Stuff here are very polite and intelligent. Great fireplace makes warm and pleasure in the evening. In addition the hotel stays in a super picturesque place which gives awesome view from all the windows
A somewhat dated hotel, but we knew this when booking. Very clean though which is the most important thing. The room was ok in size, but not really sure why they had to add the sofa (which then actually makes the room quite small). Very helpful staff. Nice views.
Definitely recommend the restaurant menu! Even people from a nearby hotel popped by to eat dinner a few times.
We were positively surprised by the fact that the hotel is situated on a golf course. We realy enjoyed playing the course with beautifull views on Broumov and surroundings. Especially the view of Snetksy - the highest mountain of the Karkonosk - was a big surprise. The owners were very friendly and helpfull. We realy enjoyed pur stay.
Very spacious apartment in the city center of Broumov, literally one minute away from the monastery. All amenities were available at your disposal. Cleanliness on point and the views from the room are breathtaking. The host is very communicative and accommodating (I appreciated the later check-out option).
Breakfast were okay, location and place was really convenient, especially for travelling around.
Just a tip, the reception is further from hotel, and the arrival can be latest 21:00 - recommending do not miss that:)
