The rooms was extremely spacious and comfortable.
I am unsure if there were coffee pods for the coffee machine , this may be something to improve on.
The shuttle service for the airport was beneficial and convenient.

Great rooms, ours led to the pool area.sone rooms were more secluded.very comfortable beds, beautiful views from the lovely warm pool. Lovely breakfast. Great for group family holidays . Very accommodating staff, we had our own massive family breakfast table every morning.
Featuring 2 luxurious outdoor pools, a fitness center, and a gift shop, this hotel offers free Wi-Fi and 4 well-appointed meeting rooms to host events, receptions and weddings in San Jose.
Cute little town near the airport. Probably not a destination, but, if you have a night to kill before flying out, it's fine. Otherwise, there isn't anything I know of to draw visitors. Couple cute restaurants on the main street. Felt safe walking around after dark.

We did more in San Antonio than we expected to do. The church in the center of town was welcoming, and there are a lot of restaurants with good food and service. The bussing to other areas (San Jose and Heredia) is well marked and has an appropriate schedule. Plus, the area felt safe to walk after sunset. Because of its convivence, we extended our hotel stay to stay in the area, and only bussed to San Jose for the day.

For us La Rivera is a take off and arrival point, so the easy airport access is important. It is an easy walk to a phone store or Pali supermarket for some basics, and the local pista, church and park give you a safe introduction to Costa Rica. There is not much else to do in the immediate area.
This hotel was a gem! The photos did not do it justice. We booked it for our last night in Costa Rica and enjoyed it greatly. The surroundings and decor were tasteful. My husband also enjoyed a dip in the pool.
A big thank you to the staff members as they were exceptionally nice and helpful - I don't like coriander and the staff members did everything to make sure I would have no coriander in my food. If we go back to Costa Rica we will book a longer stay in this hotel as they also organise wildlife trips.
The lady checking us in was very friendly and helpful. She was also very kind to let us check into our room early. She also made sure to show us the room and made sure that everything was clean and working well inside. The room was also a great size and it included a full kitchen with appliances. That was a nice bonus. There is also an excellent local restaurant right across the street from the hotel, which was very convenient.
My husband and I enjoyed the hotel, with the free airport shuttle. You have to arrange the time though, as they do not go to the airport on a routine basis. The breakfast was filling and delicious, if you decide to have the traditional dish, which consisted of eggs or sausage, rice with beans, toast, fruits, and coffee.
We liked the on-site restaurant which is in a separate building in a large open air space. The staff communicated with us everyday to ask about our dining preferences for the next meal. For us, the hotel was just a convenient overnighter near the airport, but we could have stayed here comfortably for much longer.
The hotel was recommended to me by a friend for an early flight as it is close to the airport
They include, a free breakfast and hotel shuttle and were really friendly and responsive, check in was so easy
The evening meal in the restaurant was really nice and felt relaxing and adapted to a food allergy
Rachel the receptionist was just wonderful and the rooms were large and very well cleaned. In terms of proximity to the airport the hotel works - a short taxi ride. The hotel has a lovely pool and everything it needs to be a really great choice - yet I wouldn't choose it a second time.
Excellent restaurant as part of hotel. Feels very Costa Rican. Nice garden, located in a neighborhood, could hear rooster crowing, see volcano. Clean. Bed comfy. Shuttle service excellent. Easy and close to airport. Perfectly adequate for an overnight stay. Good value for the money.
Comfortable room. Roomy, free shuttle to and from the airport. Connected to the hotel is a great restaurant, and bakery and bar. Excellent food and service and open late. Breakfast at the restaurant was included and was good. Staff is friendly. I probably will return.
Excellent hotel! Great room, really comfy beds, lovely staff. And really delicious food in their restaurant. And a swimming pool! Sat out in the sunshine with a drink while the kids swam the evening before our flight. Best value for money we’ve had in an airport hotel
Nice hotel close to the airport with free airport shuttle so perfect for the first or the last night in Costa Rica. Service was great and the restaurant next door had delicious pizzas. The room and the pool area were basic, nothing too special but served the purpose.
The hotel is close to the airport. It has unlimited water and coffee at the reception. The staff is kind and helpful. I would suggestion learning some Spanish words here. The private room is quite big and has everything you may need as well as ventilation.
The hotel is very close to the airport and has free shuttle. Rooms are big and comfortable with Coffe machine in it and a full bathroom with hairdryer. The restaurant is fancy and food is delicious. Above all staff is really friendly.
The staff were great, friendly and helpful.
they allowed us to leave our luggage free of charge at the hotel whilst we flew to Tortugeuro for a couple of nights. Restaurant is good and handy.
I arrived in the late afternoon and took dinner at the hotel. What I enjoyed most was Rachel practicing English with me while I practiced Spanish. Very courteous and pleasant young lady.
Loved it - could’ve stayed longer :-) Such a great hotel with lovely staff, incredibly spacious rooms and perfect location for an overnight stay ahead of an AM flight!
