It’s very well located for ski-lifts & etc, traditional, family-owned, small hotel with very good restaurant downstairs.
Liked every moment here.

Good location, at the foot of the old village, close to restaurants and also public transport. The hotel has been very nicely renovated with lovely bathrooms and comfortable bedding. The sauna was a plus, and while a little small, we enjoyed it every day after a good hike in the mountains.
The Hôtel Bella Tola & St-Luc was built at the end of the 19th century in the Val d'Anniviers valley. It offers panoramic views, an indoor pool, free Wi-Fi and free parking.

Location is outstanding. The hotel is traditional yet very comfortable. The views from the hotel stupendous. This is a place to come back again and again. The village of La Sage is unspoiled and charming, just right for hikers and those seeking peace and quiet.

I have been going to Zinal for over a decade.
I have been going to Zinal for over a decade. I will try to be brief but the view and river is so calming. True there are getting to be more people but it just shows how magical the place is. Zinal is not very big but they have excellent restaurants. My all time favorite is the Trift. The chef is an artist.
The hike trails are breathtaking though not for beginners.
It is an excellent choice for a getaway in the Swiss mountains and to take in nature.
I have gone with my kids in the winter for skiing and they love it... also the summer but youth of today do not hike as much 🙃.
Last thing I can say is go check it out. For lovers of nature you won't be disappointed.

Zinal and Grimentz offer some great runs and they have a good lift system. For good skiers you can ski both resorts in a couple of days so best for a short break. Zinal is much smaller and quieter than Grimentz. Not much is open in the town during the daytime but there are some nice restaurants for dining.

Search no more -- Zinal is fantastic!
Search no more -- Zinal is fantastic! multiple tracks start in the village, and are accessible to everyone: kids, elderly, disabled... Beauty overload. don't miss Moiry glacier with its out of earth landscapes and Moiry lake of unreal turquoise color. Have a dinner at Le Besso -- they have a really talented Chef! My Thai friend who ordered a chicken wok kept saying "OMG, this is a real Asian taste!" after every bite. And their deserts -- OMG! they are exquisite (try Le Vacherin and Le Must -- they are truly MUST). Do you like rhubarb pies? If you do, go straight to Bulangerie in the center (opposite to Intersports) and you wont be disappointed. Overall -- magic place, which we did not want to leave and where we hope to return.

I will not be returning to the Swisspeak resort in Zinal or will I be recommending to family/friends
Liked · The location was a bit far out to be honest and it was more like a one horse town, not much really going on there.
Find the Swiss very stiff and rigid....be nice if they were more friendly and not so strict a bit more open etc....and smiled more and could be more friendly.
Disliked · The attitude of some of the staff for example....the answer given by them was....it's not my job.......
Snow and ice all over the property, all the steps up and down from the complexes were covered in ice and snow and were a danger to all staying there. All the road ways in and out of the complexes were covered in snow and ice especially around the road entrances to the car parking areas....was very disappointed in the safety aspects of this.

One one those hidden gems in the Swiss Alps.
One one those hidden gems in the Swiss Alps. No rushes but decent skiing and other activities. Good restaurants and shops despite the size of the village. Road from the valley is also always a venture.

Zonal was a charming stop on our C-Z trek.
Zonal was a charming stop on our C-Z trek. There were several hotels in town but I feel Hotel le Trift offered the best value and experience. There was an ATM and grocery store in town, which was really convenient.
Amazing location (one of few best views in this area) direct view on the river and just next to the bridge towards the hiking trails into the woods. Cleanses, rooms arrangements and kitchen tools and appliances, car parking, kids playroom, video games room and climbing wall, supportive staff. Buildings are secure with smart locks and monitored with surveillance cameras. Check the Zinal tourism website before you arrive or the tourism office once you are there for nearby activities.
We stopped for a night in Zinal on a hike around the Val d’Anniviers. After a good day’s walk, the welcome at the Pension de la Poste was just what we needed. A nice clean comfortable room and a bathroom with a great hot shower. We had a good meal at the cosy restaurant. The hotel serves a very good breakfast. Juliette runs the Pension with a smile and provides helpful advice.
Room was nice, clean and quiet. Breakfast at this hotel is always excellent; you pay for it but it is much better than trying to find breakfast en route and represents very good value. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located very close to the centre of town so you don't get the noise but it is a short walk to restaurants and for sightseeing.
So I didn’t actually stay at Besso. The management company sent me a message to say that Besso was under renovation and that they were moving me to Pointe de Zinal hotel instead. I met others who had the same experience. Pointe de Zinal was a decent hotel, staff went out of their way to look after guests.
Staff was very friendly and breakfast was generous and tasty. Beds were comfy and the room and shared facilities were clean.
This hotel offers great shelter for hikers looking for a place to stay for the night. It doesn’t offer many comforts or amenities, which is reflected in its very affordable price.
Very good base for the famous Zinal glacier cave hike, only about a five minutes walk to the start of the trail. Basic but very tasty breakfast with cold cuts, cheeses, eggs and birchermüsli to prepare guests for a day of hiking. Really sweet, kind staff, always smiling and attentive to their guests.
Facilitated an early check-in and assisted with issuance of the local pass which gave us benefits in the village and area. Check-out was also very smooth. Well located hotel and adequate breakfast. Dinner in the hotel was also very good. More than adequate portions and very well presented.
A very beautiful and clean new apartment located in the town of Zinal, the owners are kind and answer every question with a smile, suitable for fans of skiing and the lovely Swiss nature, amazing hiking trails, attractions and more... I will return to this place without a second thought..
Zinal is a lovely town, and Pointe de Zinal a delightful hotel. We had a lovely comfy room, an enjoyable drink on the terrace followed by an excellent dinner in the restaurant. A great breakfast too - and hikers are very appreciative of a good breakfast!
Great, simple hotel. Perfect for a couple of days getaway skiing. Great location in the center and close to gondola station and bus station. I was amazed by the great food of the restaurant. Wonderful cook and friendly staff.
Cute, cozy room. Excellent breakfast. Good location right on the main road and easy walking to/from hiking trails and also close to the amazing public spa! (And at which you get a discount for staying at Pointe Zinal).
Excellent stay - Beautiful property, large comfy room. Views were magnificent, staff was very friendly. No fridge in the room but wasn't an issue for us and not uncommon for hotels like this. Overall great stay.
Extremely functional, practical, very well equipped apartments,.perfect for family of 4. Loved it, already our second time there. Can't beat the value, and zinal is a great destination for spring skiing
Great vibe. Lots of locals frequent the restaurant/bar. Unpretentious and friendly proprietors. The Trift Burger was delicious and the perfect reward after a challenging descent from Cabane de Moiry.
second time at the hotel - all is perfect,
the stuff is extremely helpful and kind, the hotel is clean, breakfast is great, located in the center of Zinal, not much to add, excellent!
Great place to stay in the middle of a long trek through the alps. There wasn’t much open the evening we were there so we had dinner in the hotel restaurant - it was delicious!
Hotel Besso was closed so they moved us to Europe hotel. Fabulous people, friendly and helpful. Breakfast terrific. Great place to stay. Right next to supermarket too.
