Lovely location on the edge of the lake with beautiful views and very peaceful Freshly baked bread and croissants for breakfast. Fun on the pool table. Good choice of channels on the TV including UK ones. Free parking (you can spend a lot on parking in Luzern)

I’m not rich but I decided to spoil myself in a good reviewed hotel during my trip in Swiss but the experience ended to be horrible. The temperature control of our room wasn’t functioning what made the temperature super hot which made it impossible to go to sleep. Since it was Sunday the staff wasn’t at the property and we ended up sleeping with the door open where dozens of mosquitoes and bugs entered our room. At the next day the receptionist simply said she’s sorry and offered us water as a consolidation for a night without sleeping. The day after staying at this hotel was ruined since the lack of sleep we had and we ended up extremely disappointed. Unfortunately I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.

We stayed at Niederbauen room, and has a stunning view of the mountain and lake. The room is very spacious and clean, there is a balcony, sofa, and a spa bath. The pillow was too soft for me, but they have a pillow & duvet menu (yes, you read it right - PILLOW AND DUVET Menu!!), so you can request which pillow you preferred. Staff is professional and friendly. The breakfast is pretty good. Highly recommend this accommodation!
