Very close from airport - from airport walk is 20 minutes down by park. Beware GPS at the airport is blocked! Make photo map before landing. Return at early morning to the airport is easy by bus 732 at 5:20 BEWARE ! Only Swiss cash /No card/ at bus. They has a nice quiet bar. Clean.

Nice village close to the airport.
Nice village close to the airport. Many shops, restaurants, take aways, pharmacies, etc. Also many public transport choices. There are also two public swimming pools, one covered and one open air for the summer.

Kloten is my favorite location for the night before...
Kloten is my favorite location for the night before departure at the Zurich airport. It has convenient bus & rail service to the airport and provides a safe, walkable community to eat, shop for groceries and the all important chocolate to take home, and explore.

The room was too hot and a fan was not available.
The room was too hot and a fan was not available. It was really too hot to stay in the room until the sun set. They have some type of central air conditioning which does not blow cool air. Also the room was $25 cheaper on the day of arrival but the haughty property manager refused to make a price adjustment. He said it was inflexible like an “airline ticket” and would make. I exceptions. I got to the room and saw that the cancellation period was until 6 pm on the day of arrival so I should have just cancelled and rebooked right there at the front desk.

Watching planes and seeing the mountains from the terrace was a treat. This was the beginning of a 2 week trip by train, thanks to the Gerbers for getting us to our first station in Kloten and for pointing out the A380 taking off

I really recommend people to stay here. will definitely stay here again for my next visit in Switzerland!!! 10/10 stars

In addition to the in-room shower/toilet there was a shared shower, bathroom that was large and ultra clean. Liked the nepresso type machine and biscuits available for the tenants.
