Very clean and modern hotel, with gorgeous views of Lake Lucerne. We had a superior room with a lake view and were very glad that we did - absolutely worth the extra cost. The hotel is very conveniently located for lake boat trips, about 9 minutes on foot to the pier. For many other attractions in the area, a car would probably be needed. Free, garage parking under the hotel was very convenient. The fridge provided in the room was much appreciated. Excellent, powerful shower with a good, stable temperature adjustment. The restaurant was a gastronomic delight - if you could afford it! Excellent breakfast buffet, with a cook-to-order option included in the price.

It offers wondeful views of the lake and the mountains and some really nice hotels and restaurants that exceeded our expectations. We loved and enojoyed staying at this hotal. The lake and mountain view is just so bueatiful. The breakfast is exellent. Many variety food and drinks to choose. We enojoyed eating breakfast on the patio with the view of Lake of Luzane and the Mountain every monring. The access to the Hotel is easy. The bus station is right in front of the hotel. the front desk has bus schedule to let you know when next one is coming. It takes 15 min bus to the train station, then take anther 15 min train to the city of Luzane. Or you can walk for 5 min to the Ferry station from the Hotel and ride boat to the City of Luzane. The transpotation in Switzland is so easy and conveniently to use.FengUnited States - 10Scored 10

Beckenried is a good base from which you can visit the area. There is a cable car to the Klewenalp with many walking possibilities, the boats call at Beckenried and you can take trips all over the lake.

great hotel & location, but with no air con in rooms & rubbish service in an over priced restaurant run by inefficient staff who seem to rush around not paying attention to the customers, one order missed then delivered 10 minutes after the first order arrived & missing a vital ingredient no applogies made very indifferent staff on the night. Needs sorting & contact back to me regarding a ruined meal.

Resturant has very good food and staff is very kind. Free parking on side which is normally very difficult around the lake. If you have a dog, I recommend to go up the hill , around lake there is almost no grass. Its quite a walk up hill but very beautiful. Very close to the lif to many hikes, we took as well boat across the lake , we had great time !
