Clean, quiet and friendly host family (including their 2 cats). Comfy beds and washroom with everything that we need (with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer and towels). There's a small fridge in the room where we kept drinks and fruits. Hosts told us it's ok to use their kitchen for cooking but we didn't want to enter their personal areas, so didn't check out that common area.

Beautiful new house. I felt safe and comfortable here for 2 days. My host was wonderful! Any questions I had were answered immediately. I really felt he cared about me and made every effort to make my stay an enjoyable experience.
I booked a 4-day stay in just 2 weeks, I was so happy with my stay.
Just a 7-minute drive to a shopping mall. 10 minutes to St Catherine’s and 20 minutes the falls.

The lock system was what drew me to Thorold but I enjoyed the town itself as well. I had dinner at places near the historic town center: Donnelly’s pub, where I had a great lamb stew, and breakfast at Hana’s which was friendly with good food. I found some nice shops in that area as well and some lovely homes and parks.

Two bedrooms had an ensuite bathroom, the other bedrooms had a separate shared bath. The area, fairly new townhomes, seem comprised of college age students. There are stores and restaurants in nearby Thorold and about a 30 min drive to NOTL.. We stayed the weekend to attend the ice wine festival and visit nearby wineries. Overall, we had a great stay and would come back again.

There is a large free parking just outside the hotel and a beautiful park nearby. The hotel inside is full of light and nicely furnished, and rooms are spacious, with separate zones for sleep and work. Spacious, clean, and comfortable restaurant. We liked the food.

Larger than typical rooms, with balcony overlooking the Welland canal. Got to see a large ship pass through this am. Appreciate a place with real glasses and mugs.
