the apartment was very comfortable.
the apartment was very comfortable. It was worth the money for us to stay here. My only suggestion to the renters of the property is that the bed needs to be upgraded. It was comfortable enough but for big people, like me, comfort is everything when I sleep. Other than that, It was great!!

The area didn't seem very safe.
The area didn't seem very safe. Everything seemed far but on further exploration, it isn't -- convenience-wise I would recommend Surrey if you're going to be in and around the area much. Safety-wise, I wouldn't say it's totally unsafe, I'd only recommend one to be careful initially, assess for your own self, and decide if staying out after sundown is a good idea or not.

Surrey is my hometown. I am a Canadian citizen. It just so happened I needed a place to stay at the time and I got robbed by these people who rented me the place for 45 days. 8925 151 street Surrey BC. They took the money the day I moved in and promised to refund the damage deposit as soon as I vacated the place ($1400 CDN ). But that never happened to this day(12th of July 2023)

Eat at Crescent beach or "Morrisons" in Ocean Park to escape the main beach crowds.
The soccer fields are amazing there.
Lovely art and gift shop in White Rock centre.

The thing is , that owner or manager, she doesn’t have manners. As we booked the hotel via booking .com but at she said there was no booking and the rate she told us was way to high . And she is not accepting intrac or cards only cash . And when we asked for refund she said no refunds and cut the phone

It was affordable for where I waned to go.
It was affordable for where I waned to go. Easy to get to Vancouver and other destination most times. Wonderful accommodation that I would like to book in the future instead of nearer to Vancouver where it is very expensive. If you didn't have a car it might not be so good, There was parking on the street and I never had a problem with that, Closer parking in the driveway for electric cars to charge. Must admit I didn't spend a lot of time in Surrey but I was able to find all the places I wanted. Chong Qing restaurant and Krispy Kreme doughnuts for example. Lots of other malls for shopping also. I was mostly visiting friends in the area.
The hotel palace is open after 2:30 PM on teen week night so we called them and check if our confirmation went through after 230 that their customers representative answer the phone so I want to such as all of you to understand this hotel is not the 24 hours of pain hotel if you want to come fast is better than a poke it a day here and call them after 230 or the same thing every single is better fantastic for us who was a spacious and keeping very quiet and family face oriented area block shitty and satisfied with my desire we thank you
it’s our third time booking and each time we enjoy new room character we book
so far my family were extreme comfortable
They have a very caring staff I can say and very clean and organized
it’s better to stay in local area till going expensive hotels paying 300 per day for same services
we really appreciate The Empress Palace management specially the Empress assistant
we know we must pay on line as they do not view credit card info till you call them right after sending request and E transfer
Thanks again
Totally satisfied
Amazing hospitality, great and safe location
Clean rooms
Shared kitchenette, living and dining room was great as, we could use it for warm up our foods
Mini bar is cute
Our kids played at basketball court a lot
That was a big asset
Freedom to breath air in beautiful garden and stay with my family for a, plenty of great time.
Thanks Ms Empress. You are, blessed.
Call g hotel after 1:PM was a great way to confirm our room is still available and we liked to pay them by cash.
Staff are nice! Room was clean. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub except they ran out of clean towels in the pool so i had to go back to our room to get the towels from there.
Breakfast was awesome!
Thank you Ramada ! A good stay for a really good pice! My daughter's loved the stay in your hotel so we will definitely recommend it and we will definitely see you soon!
Thanks booking.com for making it easy and for the discounted pice as well!
The suite was large and the entire hotel has recently been refurbished. We had a full-size fridge and range. There was also a microwave. We asked for a bathmat and the owner went out of his way to find one for us. Very friendly, pleasant staff . The hotel is conveniently located to the SkyTrain into Vancouver--about a 10-15 minutewalk. Bus stops are very close. Also, within walking distance there are many places to eat.
It not a Inn to begin with the pooress system to get in they trying to call themself à boutique hotel ...not closes to ir...the only thing good was bedroom...No where to eat far from everything the Taxi had no know of it how can it be a motel or hotel or Inn or B and B...I would remove them from your list and hopeful all the other do same...
It was our best stay
No issue at all
I think those with aggressive bad reviews must have gone to other hotel beside this one and mistakenly have mentioned about this beautiful property on their comments
Our next trip will be next month and we book it again but this time we bring kids for ski 🎿
I liked the reasonable price, quick text responses and instructions, direct bus service from the sky train, safe feeling neighbourhood in north Surrey, clear entry code, clean very well decorated house, comfortable quiet room with room key on the desk, attached bath and nearby shared kitchen.
i was a little skeptical at first, seeing as I usually would either book hotels or Airbnb. But my boyfriend and I booked this and gave it a chance. The property was very beautiful, and the room we received was clean, good lighting and we even have our own bathroom!
I don’t know whose fault was booking.com or the hotel management, I booked the two bedrooms when I reached to the address they apologize and said they have no available room.
Booking.com blame the hotel management and hotel blame booking.com
Great place, very well equipped, several towels, iron, heater, cutlery, washing machine, coffee maker, toaster, electric oven, fridge, tv with netflix, shower with shampoo and body wash, had the feeling of a 4 star hotel.
It was easy to just show up and walk in. Nice Neighbourhood to walk a dog. Spacious 2bdrm 1 sm shower bathroom. All inclusive kitchen, 5 min drive to Surrey shopping centre and 25mins to DT Vancouver.
we liked the complimentary breakfast, it was really great for the price. this was also the first hotel we’ve stayed at in a while that continues to do room cleans even if you only stay for two nights.
The staff were very friendly. The kids loved the pool and enjoyed breakfast. We rode transit to visit downtown Vancouver and the stops were close to the hotel and easy to find
Its a great hotel with reasonable parking rates for the lower mainland. Its close proximity to Guildford mall is excellent for shopping and easy restaurant options.
