Good experience visiting sites including Trent University where our daughter graduated from. The weather was cold and windy so we did NOT get to the zoo. Down town is clean and there are good eateries.HowardCanada - 10Scored 10
Loved the free zoo!!
Loved the free zoo!! We packed a picnic lunch & played at the park. We also really enjoyed checking out the boat locks. 241 pizza was delicious & quick for a large order. The view of water was nice near our hotel “holiday inn waterfront” Overall great place to visit!

Peterborough has beautiful green spaces and lots of hiking...
Peterborough has beautiful green spaces and lots of hiking trials. The University offers many cultural events open to the public (i.e. Powwow). Plus the campus is beautiful even in the winter months. It has been many years since I’ve been to Peterborough and I...
It has been many years since I’ve been to Peterborough and I was shocked at the degradation over large part of the downtown… Graffiti and lots of homeless with obvious signs of prolific drug use. In three days I was there I never saw a single police officer. I did not feel safe in the downtown. It’s no longer the beautiful city I remember and would never consider retiring there.

I all ready gave my big review, but one thing I noticed later was this star reward for each night you stay of which I Have lost out on as staff did not inform me about. The only negative to my trip. Also reviewing all the things to see and do which the area has plenty of. Was not a part of this trip. I live in peterborough and this stay was a birthday getaway.james
