We stayed in one of the Mapleview rooms and were very happy with our stay. The price was amazing and I enjoyed the jet tub after a day hiking at the nearby Limberlost Reserve. We also enjoyed the fireplace. We would definitely consider coming back during the spring/summer/fall to get out on the lake. I would like to stay in one of the stand-alone cottages. Location is good for exploring the area and close enough to Hunstville for amenities.

We stayed two nights in Dwight, exploring the lakes on the area by jetski in the day. There are lots of lakes yo explore. All are really pretty. We would have liked to have had more time to paddle and swim. We went for a hike in the rain in Algonquin Park on our last partial day.

There is a grassy play area with swings at the front and Dwight beach is 1-2 mins walk. There is a bakery, general store, post office and gift shop within 5-10 mins walk. This also gives us quick and easy access to smoke outside. The owners have done a wonderful job maintaining the property. There are fire pits and bbqs available for guests to use. This is our second stay here this year with many more to come. I previously gave the motel an average review due to a mixup in rooms which was addressed immediately by the host. I will try to update that review.

Check-in was easy and Kristal the manager was very friendly. The cabin had a portable air conditioner which worked very well on the hot days. Kitchen comes stocked with everything you need although we brought our own utensils and cookware just in case.
