The owner was very nice but there was no breakfast and the grounds looked like it was not being taken care of quite as much as I would have expected. The bathtub was amazing and my room was comfortable.

It is gorgeous but even more remote than I realized.

It is gorgeous but even more remote than I realized. Options for food and bathrooms are few and far between and have limited operating hours. Plan accordingly and it will be perfect! The Dancing Moose and the Clucking Hen were both terrific with the offerings and the quality of the food.

We had a restaurant right at our overnight destination open breakfast and lunch which was just off the Cabot Trail plus there was a convenience stop just down the street with many items from clothing to snacks.
