Everything was spot on. Very clean room, great breakfast with great staff and sea view. Check in and check out was very smooth. The staff in the restaurant also very friendly and all played with my 7 month baby. The owner was very lovely and there every day. Love how the beach is at your door step and also the hotel has 6 chairs with table by the beach that they can reserve for you.
Would definitely recommend and also stay there again.

It's a beautiful place but too crowded and expensive.
It's a beautiful place but too crowded and expensive. If you are looking for parties and drinking all day long, that's the place. The gastronomy options are diverse and costly. The structure of the village is OK, good public services, however, the TUPA (tourist fee) is too expensive.

Beautiful beaches with lots of restaurants and shops.
Beautiful beaches with lots of restaurants and shops. We took a catamaran over from Salvador because our flight was cancelled. The catamaran ride is 2.5 hours and a bit choppy. We flew back to Salvador. Flight was efficient and very nice.

Beautiful island with a great vibe. Good restaurants and bars. The second beach is perfect for a relaxing day. Everything is accessible in Morro with no shortage of activities and opportunities for adventure on the water too.
It feels like a safe place to holiday and the locals are very friendly and welcoming.

While you have the beauty and feeling of a relaxing tropical island, there is enough to do such as island hops, ocean zipline, sunset cruises, walks to and from Gamboa beach, scuba diving etc. You do not get bored. The seafood available on the island is amazing and a huge highlight. But the best thing about the island was the amazing local people. A magical spot.

A lovely place even if crowded at the popular end--1st, 2nd & 3rd beaches but as Anima is on 4th it is quiet and undisturbed.
Worth the 2.5 hr water crossing. Morro is on the land side of the island and within a reef so calm and shallow water.

It is an awesome place to go relax and party.
It is an awesome place to go relax and party.
For parties you have to pay between $35-$100 Brazilian reals.
There is lots of food options and small stores around.
It is not “cheap” there like we thought.
The only thing we disliked was that to transfer from the airport of Salvador de Bahia to Morro de São Paulo it was about 5 hrs.

We booked a very last minute stay here for 2 nights, but we wish we could have stayed here longer. The maisonette was amazing, together with the incredible view, the hot tub, and of course our host Alex, made the experience priceless.
We read in the reviews before that it was a long walk to the residence, but it was better then we expected, (walking through jungle is not necessary) and in our opinion in a much nicer area of Morro de Sao Paulo. Also when you walk down you are at one of the prettiest beaches of the island in 10 minutes.
The location, pool and the view of sunset every night with live music is what makes this pousada special. Can't be beat. The location is right by the main pier, across from the church and close to the shops and restaurants, but still very quiet. The room was large and comfortable with a nice varanda. The shower was excellent, was very easy to adjust pressure and temperature (not always the case in Brazil).
I picked pousada Halai randomly mainly to escape the Carnaval confusion in Salvador. I was pleasantly surprised by the location, Gamboa, at Morro de São Paulo but very pleased with the Halai pousada. Alllesandra, the proprietor, was extremely congenial, helpful, and efficient as well as her staff. And, the beaches are quite good surrounded by greenery with a quaint village of friendly locals and cantinas.
Excellent rooms and beds, cleaning was good too! The breakfast is good, however, depending on the time, it was a little bit crowded but nothing that we could not have a nice meal. The pool is small, but with a very nice view. The hotel have a small restaurant at the pool with good options of drinks and foods with a nicer price than some places of the city.
Superior room is fantastic. Room is very large with lot of windows and ocean view even from the bathroom. Balcony is large and from there you can see all Morro and sleep with sea sound. Location is great, very close to the tours starting point. Staff is pleasant. Hotel is small with a family environment.
We had a great breakfast every day and the hotel is located in the central area near the entrance which makes the experience very favorable.
The bedroom was serviced with a king size bed and the bathroom had plenty of space. I highly recommended this property to friends and friends.
Rooms are way better than the photos! It is super central and the staff was very helpful. Staf was able to speak English and Spanish, which is a rare thing in Brazil. Our stay at this hotel was way better than what we were anticipating. I would definetely go back to this hotel.
Exceptional place, staff, hotel, room, food, breakfast, everything amazing. It's not close to the city but for the purpose of enjoying the beach in front of the hotel and relax is amazing. But they have a shuttle to the city in case you want to visit and spend the day there.
The location is nice and quiet and the breakfast was excellent. It included all the standard Brazilian breakfast foods as well as eggs made to order. It is served on a beautiful deck overlooking the ocean. The host, Werner, is very friendly and great company.
The hotel is beach front!! The views are amazing. The property site is very big, swimming pool area is lovely. Restaurant is good. The location for me was good, very quiet but just 10 min walk from the party area. I will definitely go back there.
Amazing stay. Super friendly staff and amazing facilities.
Food at the restaurant was incredible.
Seeing the sunset from the infinite pool was definitely one of the best experiences in Morro de Sao Paulo.
I would definitely be back!
The hotel is great, especially the view and the balcony. It was very clean and had everything that we’d need! A special thanks to Alejandro, who was a very kind host and who gave amazing recommendations. Thanks again. Matheus & Lara
Absolutely fantastic and nice hotel, really allowed to relax and enjoy. i liked the different pool options, but as well the very good restaurant with amazing breakfast and the offered yoga class
I love everything from the personal until the nature around the hotel. The breakfast was incredible and change a bit everyday, good swimingpool and commun areas, the room was incredibly good!!
The hotel is very clean and the staff very friendly. Located in the 4th beach, the localization is excellent for a more peaceful stay. There is a good transfer service to the center.
The room smelled great and was clean, the hotel crew were very friendly, when i asked about gluten free options at the breakfast they made me spacial dishes.
