The room was very roomy and clean with 3 single beds upstairs and a double downstairs. After 20 days of travelling it was nice to have the children in another space.
The balcony where the restaurant was is a lovely space with a view to the river and Adela served up some wonderful home cooked food.
The garden was in full swing and provided a real sense of tranquility and there was another area where you could enjoy some late afternoon sun.

Rurrenbaque is the perfect jumping off point for your Amazon adventure. There are plenty of restaurants and a few great cafes, and plenty of companies to choose from when picking how to do a tour(s) in the Amazon. It is easy to get around of foot, and tuktuks take you to and from the airport for cheap.

Everybody scared us about the street to get there but during the dry season is ok, nothing scaring. In 12-15 hours you get there! Avoid Luz del mar restaurant, cuisine is nothing special and they try to charge more. Go to yummy, amazing shakes, pancakes and frozen coffee:) we choose max adventure to go to the jungle, a little bit expensive but the experience is amazing!
