What can I say? This is one of the best Bed and Breakfasts we´ve ever been to! Starting with the kindness of the owner (due to a snowstorm we arrived a day late, for which she showed absolute flexibility), followed by a warm welcome, the spotlessly clean, stylish and cosy rooms, and a wonderful breakfast in the mornings. Laarne was perfectly situated for our family visits in Gent, without having to deal with the parking -and traffic issues of the city. A pity we didn´t have the time to explore the castle and the surroundings, but we already look forward to coming back!

Breakfast great. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Room overlooked river and lovely view. We needed permit to drive & park there and thought it would be quiet. However it turned out to be quite noisy with taxis and pedestrians!

A friendly and very comfortable hotel in a lovely location in Ghent, in walking distance to the gardens. Breakfast is delicious and includes fresh orange juice and eggs are made to order! There are excellent restaurants in the area and parking on site.
