Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort, hotel in Twin Waters

Situated on Queenslands Sunshine Coast, Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort is set in tropical gardens surrounding a central private lagoon with its own sandy beaches.

the overall layout of the hotel and its grounds with diverse recreational options seemed nice, in particular for families with kids. having some (rather tame) wildlife on your doorstep certainly is an extra treat.

Seaside Stays Marcoola Beach Studio Room, hotel in Twin Waters

Seaside Stays Marcoola Beach Studio Room has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a restaurant and bar in Marcoola.

Excellent communication from the host. Check-in was very easy with a keybox outside the room. Well equipped room with a kettle, microwave, small fridge and even a Nespresso coffee machine which we really appreciated. Easy parking out the front of the building. Great to have access to the Ramada facilities such as the nice heated swimming pool, and the downstairs bistro offered a nice dinner and breakfast (at least on the weekends from what we understood).

    Older than the photos show.

Older than the photos show. Big money for a three star hotel feel. Expected more for the price. Needs more pools. So many rooms and guest and only one average size pool. Waited ages for a chair by the pool.

    Really disappointing.

Really disappointing. WiFi never worked effectively, so doubt it would be good for a conference venue. As I was forced to book last minute, the costs were excessive...but didn't deliver on standards.

    The natural setting.

The natural setting. The outdoor area and proximity to the walking path and beach were great. The way all the properties were close but also separated. Found a great Cafe for a late breakfast. ( Hightide) in mudjimba. Also great shopping available in Maroochydore

The 3 bedroom apartment was very spacious and had great facilities. The apartment and Novotel had good facilities and was a very relaxing place to stay . The apartment Had a strange smell to it though when we arrived - kind of like burning herbs - eventually the smell went away after a fe days

Our check in time was supposedly at 2pm, we didn’t get a room key until 2:30pm. It was very frustrating as 1 receptionist said our room was ready & another said it wasn’t cleaned yet. We were told to get there early (as we did) in the hopes of our room being available earlier but it was 30 minutes late.

This property is amazing! You will not be disappointed! Service, room, breakfast was beyond expectations. Merryl and Phil were amazing! Spent breakfasts on the balcony overlooking the Petrie Creek and listening to the numerous birds awakening to the day. Exceptional! If you are on holiday to the Sunshine Coast, do not miss this place, old world charm in a new world often forgotten , spend a couple days or a week, get a lifetime of memories!! 5 star plus in our book!!

I was disappointed that I was supposed to have a room with an executive lounge but instead was given a studio room. When I told the staff they said that as I booked through a 3rd party being yourselves they couldn’t do anything about! Phone in the room wasn’t working. Reported it to staff, nothing was done. Spa was not heated. Very disappointed. And no shuttle buses to go to places. Had to rely on car or taxi . Very disappointing. Not recommending Novotel to anyone.

Close to our wedding venue (Twin Waters Golf Club). Staff at reception were nice. Plenty of pools to swim at and also have the use of Novotel pool and facilities. The 2 bed apartment my mum booked was beautiful and I would stay in this room in particular again however it was not booked through “The Sebel” it was booked separately aa it was privately managed. (Maybe this makes a difference to the quality of the accomodation)

Our initial apartment at Sebel North Shore did not match what we booked online but the staff at Sebel were kind enough to arrange another apartment which was in keeping with what was advertised and we were more than happy with that and the way it was handled . We were very pleased with the buffet breakfast ( one of the best we have had) and Twin Waters facilities were fantastic and beautifully kept.

Residents staying there were nice and welcoming and very friendly. We had our wedding at Twin Waters Golf course and the locals there were so nice and congratulated us. Property Manager David was also so helpful and understanding having our families in a few of the apartments we will be back there again for our anniversary.

Great for families, the room size was awesome, the pool was amazing and the buffet breakfast was fabulous!! Twin Waters is centrally located close to bigger cities like Maroochydore and Mooloolaba with plenty of things to do locally, liek Sealife Aquarium. The staff at the buffet were so friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was excellent, varied and with fresh items. The location was fantastic with all the gardens, the wild life and the lagoon. The staff was very friendly and polite. The pizzas at the restaurant were very good, the prices were fair. The cable TV in the room was large and displayed several channels.
