Toowoomba is great.
Toowoomba is great. Smaller than the likes of Brisbane city, but bigger than the average country town. I'm a fan, we'll be back. Toowoomba is very easy to navigate, being mostly laid out in a grid pattern. Easy to walk around the heart of the city for shopping and food.JulieAustralia - 10Scored 10

It’s very diverse, lots of sightseeing, plenty of places to go and eat. The Asian gardens are at their best in spring and autumn as they are my favourite time of year. Has some great places to go shopping. Once of the main road through town the side streets look pretty with all the jacaranda trees that have been growing for over a hundred plus years. If you want to see them in full bloom then visit for the yearly flower festival held every spring.AngelaAustralia - 10Scored 10

Toowoomba has beautiful gardens, and flowers all around the city. They still have many of the old architectural building which is a credit to the town. Being central you could walk just about everywhere.

Our last overnight stop before home so did not spend much time there. Would be an ideal place to stay for the yearly flower festival. Visited the Cobb & Co museum which was very interesting. Nice, very popular cafe inside. Made our own supper with food purchased from the Coles supermarket which was right near the Jacaranda Place Motor Inn. A fast food outlet was situated on the other side of the road, so no need to go hungry.

Nice sofa, loads of wardrobe space. Beds are super comfy. Receptionist was very friendly and accommodating - allowing us to have an early check in as we were attending a wedding. More than enough parking available. I would definitely stay here again if I travelled to Toowoomba again. It exceeded my expectations and is better than most hotels I've stayed in. Highly recommend.
