Tasman Holiday Parks - St Helens, hotel in St Helens

Tasman Holiday Parks - St Helens in St Helens provides accommodations with a garden, a bar, and barbecue facilities. This campground offers free private parking and a shared kitchen.

A well appointed new park with all the amenities you need. Our room was quite small, but had room for your bag and had a small 2 seater table and minifridge, kettle and toaster. We were only staying overnight, so didn't require much space, and it was well priced. We loved the walk into St Helens (about 6kms round trip) - a great way to start the day.

We stayed to visit mum in the nursing home in St Helens.

We stayed to visit mum in the nursing home in St Helens. We only live one & a half hours drive away and they made us feel most welcomed. We would have liked to stay an extra night and they tried to accommodate us but unfortunately they were fully booked out the following night. Queechy seems to be very popular as I have viewed booking in the past but they have always been booked out.

St Helens is a cute town on the east coast of Tasmania.

St Helens is a cute town on the east coast of Tasmania. It is an ideal location to stay for a few days and venture into the interior and other interesting places to visit around the town. Just don't eat at the RSL. I expected more seafood to be available. Pick up some tasty take away from the special section at the front of the IGA in the mall. Towns and cities have a strange idea about disability access.

    Lovely town with great eateries.

Lovely town with great eateries. The IGA had a variety of salads, the larger one not the small on main road that offered fresh salads. Great board walk around the water. The Tasman Holiday park was modern, good facilities, a view of the water and quiet. This was our first ever stay in one and we were impressed with the cabin and the price.

St Helen’s is the central services community for many nearby small holiday hamlets. It has good supermarkets and an excellent provedore plus restaurants and most of the service facilities a holiday maker would need. There are interesting and varied beaches in the area and plenty of boating & fishing for those who enjoy these pursuits. Plenty to like, we did not find anything to dislike.

Exceeded our expectations by a mile.! Steve the host went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed, unfortunately we were unable to get into the restaurant, our fault for not booking, but it looked great and the resumes of the kitchen staff were very impressive. The view over the water was just beautiful. we ride our motorbikes in Tassie each year and always pass through St Helens as there was never a decent place to stay, I think we've found one now..!

Parnella Cottage felt like home. It's comfortably set up for a family or a couple and a great location to explore Stieglitz, Peron dunes, St Helens and beyond to the Bay of Fires and inland north-west Tassie. We enjoyed the comforts of the house, fruit/veg growing in the garden (we were lucky to find apples in season) and the night sky was stunningly clear. We appreciated the host's thoughtful touches and loved being able to bring our dog on holiday with us.

We really liked the location and the style of the accommodation. It was nice that there was some tea bags & some sugar, together with a few other pantry items. There was plenty of wood for the fire, however, we didn't use any. I was surprised to see that the property had a sauna, but again, we didn't use it. Good Wifi and reasonable phone reception. St. Helens has the BEST french restaurant in town.... a "must" to try.

Many thanks to Attila for the warm introduction. When our group arrived at the hotel, Attila gave us a detailed introduction of where the restaurants are better and where the scenery is worth seeing. Not only the local ones but also the whole of Tasmania were introduced, which gave us a clearer understanding of many things that were not available from public introductions. Zhen 28-12-2022

It was a pleasant surprise. We booked a cabin at a camping ground, as all other places were booked out, so i expected camping ground facilities. This place definitely exceeded my expectations. The cabins were modern, clean, warm and had great views of the bay. We really enjoyed our stay at the Tasman Holiday Parks St Helens. The restaurant on site was also great, good food and open late.

We loved our stay at Pelican Point ,especially looking at the bird life and the pond outside the lounge windows . It was such a peaceful place to stay in . I thought the scenery was going to be quite rugged being in a bird sanctuary but we were really surprised by how nice it is . Also the town of St Helens is nice as well . We hope to be back if we come to Tasmania again .

It is a decent villa with amneties. However it was a bit far away from St. Helens (around a 5 min drive). So for any food or other shopping would need to drive out. The upstairs area was nice with a good view of the bay area. The downstairs was quite dark with not much lighting. Overall, a decent place to stay around St. Helens area.

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon trip around Tassie. There were chocolates and sparkling waiting for us which was such a special touch (thank you!!) The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and the kitchenette was really handy. If we stayed longer we would have used the outdoor BBQs! Would definitely recommend staying here.
