Great country town that deserves time to be explored at leisure. So much history, including some of our own family history who were first settlers. Keep an eye out for koalas in the nature reserve and visit the museum. Dinner was good in the Ex-services club and the goodies at the Narrandera Bakery are a must.

Nerrandera has a large recreation lake and two large swimming pools, one for recreation and one for laps.
There is also a wetland full of interesting wading birds.
The cafes are very good and lots of them.
We had a good meal at the pub.

Lovely small town.
Lovely small town. If you have your own bikes, definitely do the bike trails around Late Talbot, Koala reserve to wetlands - it took us around 2.5 hours to do everything (at an average pace). The trail, although kinda rocky (but flat most of the way) was a very nice place.

I stayed exploring for most of the day and would have stayed another night had I known what was to be found. I stopped in at a lovely Cafe and had a great breakfast, I went to the tourism centre and looked at an upcoming art exhibition and spoke with the artist, I went to the grocer and had a look at the river, and did some shopping at shops including Vinnies. I was disappointed the museum was closed.

We were travelling with a medium sized dog and travelling big kilometres. We set off on a Friday and wanted to travel 4-5 hours. Narrandera was in that window. Having said that, these little towns have a habit of surprising you. Narrandera NSW is worth a look around.

Nice wide streets, some beautiful old buildings especially the NAB bank, the Royal Doulton fountain, the Narrandera Bakery - good coffee and the raisin toast was delicious. Good meals at reasonable prices at the Ex Servicemen's Club. Water Tower mural - would have liked to have stayed a bit longer.
Angel is a fabulous hostess - we felt we were being welcomed into her own home. The whole place was spotless, had everything you need (and more - e.g. a massage chair and an exercise bike in the common lounge room!), the bed was very comfy, the showers were lovely, the air conditioning worked perfectly and was quiet, and we heard no noise from other guests, even though the hotel was full. Dan was really helpful, and helped take our luggage to the room and explained how things worked. We are definitely looking forward to staying there again.
The location was great. I really liked the lounge area of the hotel in front of reception. It had different varieties of tea/coffee and that too for free. The owners were very kind and helpful and amazing. The only thing to watch out for is the location of the washrooms. Make sure to book a room a bit away from them if you are noise sensitive. Otherwise, everything was great.
Stayed in a family room. It had a seperate room for the kids with their own tv. Kitchen facilities were great, including having bar stools to sit on to have breakfast. Bottle water provided for us. The RSL is right across the road and has great food. The waterpark at the local pool made Narrandera a great alternative to stay at instead of Wagga for a big road trip.
The location to places of interest and dining was very convenient. The town of Narrandera has a lot of interesting things to see, with some beautiful old buildings and a wide variety of trees in nice wide tree lined streets.
We really liked this accommodation gem as far as motels go.
It was clean, had a comfy queen bed and good heating as it was a cold night. Friendly receptionist. Bathroom has been updated.
Charlie was awesome and even though there was a slight hick up with room being ready he went above and beyond.
Narrandera Club Motor Inn were totally understanding and accommodating
Great basic accommodation for a good price. Handy to the main routes through a rural town, and close to shopping and food shops. Coffee machine in the room was a bonus
