Kerang is a quiet country town in Victoria and is approx. 20 minutes drive to the NSW border. It has all the basic facilities and services, plus a large supermarket, located within easy walking distance from the main accomodations. It’s a well looked after town with some very friendly locals. Recently the community has added 4 donated ‘play me’ pianos around the town centre. The local museum has a wealth of fascinating items to look at each Sunday afternoon and the guys there have plenty of knowledge and enthusiasm to share. There are parks, playgrounds, the Loddon River, numerous lakes, the Murray River and other small towns within 5-20 minutes drive.

Small country town trying to recover after Covid-19.
Small country town trying to recover after Covid-19. Just starting to open up again but looks promising. Not much choice in accommodation but with 3 pubs in town & a couple of take away places for food. Exchange Hotel is excellent, good pub meals, friendly staff, great experience.
