Friendly Receptionist, clean and tidy room, comfortable bed. Undercover car parking was excellent and plenty of room to maneuver your vehicle.

Great one night stay in one of the motel rooms, which was clean and seems to have been modernized recently. Hot water and good water pressure in our private bathroom. Air conditioning ran well. TV, microwave, mini fridge, hot plate, electric kettle, toaster, pots, pans, and plates included in the room. I’d happily stay here again if passing through.

The hosts were really lovely people and made the stay much nicer. The location was good, and you have the local towns for everything you need. You are staying in a remote location, so you will need a car.
There are good places to walk in the area, and nice sights to see. The best sight is from the accommodation itself, where you have an absolutely stunning view!
The breakfast was great, prepared fresh every day and good options. We were very happy with it overall.
It is truly spending a bit of time in the jungle! Great experience and would highly recommend.

Ingham was a pleasant town. We travelled from there to see the amazing Walloman Falls. We had coffee at the famous Italian JK's Delicatessan and coffee shop. Also a meal at the historic Station Hotel and a drive to the Forrest Beach. The wetlands are interesting but there are resident crocodiles which is off putting..

The photos are deceiving, the standard room is incredibly small and the air-conditioning comes through the toilet, so imagine. The TV turns off every hour and the WiFi was woeful, unusable. The front door kept jamming so had to be slammed. Very dirty grubby, seedy little dungeon.

Ingham isn't really a holiday destination.
Ingham isn't really a holiday destination. We stayed there overnight to break our journey down the Bruce Highway.
It was a rainy Saturday afternoon and although the staff in the tourist information were very friendly and helpful, there was nowhere to go out of the rain.

Scenery. Enjoyed the drive to Lucinda and Halifax. Also down there enjoyed Dungeness Harbour. Went to Wallaman Falls and did the walk to the bottom of the falls. A hard walk but so glad we did it. Allow plenty of time and anyone going must take water.

I would suggest ringing the location direct to book rather than using 'booking.com' to save yourself some money while also ensuring the establishment get what they deserve
I paid $135 through 'booking.com' (which I believe the motel recieves about $110)
Someone walked in off the street and paid $120 (which the motel gets all)
The motel had a friendly homely feel about it. The minute I got there I wanted to wash our clothes and rest. Being near the wetlands a red bird (very pretty) came and sat on the cars. We were walking distance from the pub with no beer. We had dinner there. We didn’t get any mosquito or sandfly bites. I was really pleased because I’m allergic to them. My son loved the couch bed. He said that it was the best sleep he’d had since we went on holidays.
Not the Tropixx fault and if you need somewhere to stay to break your trip cannot fault the motel room ...however do not believe the hype about Ingham and it's Italian heritage making it a foodies paradise.... Unless you classify dominoes pizza as Italian food. We stayed on a Sunday night and the only NON fastfood / takeaway open was the hinchbrook hotel serving cold and gluggy ravioli. Pretty bad and overpriced.
We arrived late and the hotel manager was nice enough to stay later and help show us where to park our two trailers and four wheel drives. The next day we had to make a quick emergancy stop at the hospital for one of our children and the manager was kind enough to let my partner and children stay in the air con room a little longer out of the heat while I ducked out to the hospital. He was so lovely to talk to.
Lovely set of apartments centrally located in Ingham. Recently renovated and well designed whilst retaining some of the art deco charms of the original building. Our family of three had a lovely two night stay. Great staff who were on hand to help with any questions or issues. Would highly recommend as a base to check out what Ingham and surrounding area has to offer!

I needed a place for an overnight stay for an ongoing trip the next day. Read about the Motel Ingham accommodation on booking.com site. Place was well located, comfortable. I didn't need onsite meals, but they were available if required. Happy to recommend.
Beds super comfortable as were the pillows. Great location for a walk around town. Easy to find and check in. Room good size. Had what we needed to be comfortable. Liked the old hotel feel and the walk up the stairs added to the atmosphere.
The friendly Frenchmen , Buddy. Lovely reception and room.
We missed out on diner but were directed to a good hotel in Ingham.
Wetlands are just across the road.
We don’t stay anywhere else when in Ingham. The staff go above and beyond to make sure your staff is as comfortable as possible. Best customer service around!
