Great town with all the facilities you would expect in a larger regional town. Right on the river there are some great little spots to fish, sit and look at the river and its occupants go by or have a picnic with a significant other lots to do and see around Grafton.

It was close (within walking distance to the big shopping centre) and it was simple to find.
The staff were lenient and patient and when I asked for a ground floor room she gave it to me. The shower looked nice also.

Ann and David were perfect hosts.
Ann and David were perfect hosts. I wish we had stayed here on our way to Queensland before. Would definitely recommend this B&B to my friends. The cooked breakfast was really good.
The cuppa and home made cake David made was an extra treat on our arrival.
Will stay again for sure. Ros & Keith xx

Room was an old dump, lounge was dirty carpet was stained.
Room was an old dump, lounge was dirty carpet was stained. Kitchenette was from the 60's. Water in bathroom basin only had hot, shower needed a good scrub, mould on shower ceiling. No air con in main living area. Window that looked onto motel walkway curtains did not cover properly so people could see in when they walked past.
Very over priced & over rated by others, are you sure they actually stayed there. Bates hotel would have been better.
Town was on valium. Where has the old charm of Grafton gone?
I would give Grafton a big miss.

Sadly it was raining the time we were there which limited what we were able to do. But we walked the main street and had brunch with friends who live there, who we had gone to see on our way home from our big trip South. It looks like a lovely town.
Andavine House is a great stopover if you travel with your dog. You have half the house and deck. It is very private and comfortable and the dog is welcome to stay inside with you in his own bed. Anne and David were so lovely and welcomed us upon arrival. Brekky is included. Hugo (the dog) and I loved staying there. The town center is a short stroll away and you can park the car on the property. Can highly recommend iAndavine House. Thanks, Anne and David for your hospitality.
Great location close to shops and only a few minutes to Grafton Hospital, where my husband was.
Comfy Bed.
Great water pressure from taps and shower rose.
Housekeepers do a great job keeping the room clean and well-stocked.
We live in Yamba and I appreciated staying in the Motel, so I didn't have to travel 50-minutes one-way, twice a day.
The room was small but charming, a little bit different to the standard brick Aussie motel with a plate glass window looking out over the river. We were there overnight while on a bike trip, and and it was the perfect comfy spot to kick off the boots and relax with a beer overlooking the river.
Staff are friendly and sevice was awesome. The motel is extremely clean, well maintained and comfortable and would highly recommend a stay. Its within walking distance to town and I have stayed 2 times, both times for 2 nights and will stay there anytime I visit Grafton.
We were travelling at night & were able to enter our room at 1am with the use of a code previously texted to us by the hotel which was so convenient. Room was very clean, beds very comfortable & facilities available to make a cup of tea was greatly appreciated.
Staff was friendly and very informative. The motel location itself was okay although it is far from the central Grafton area, but assuming you have car should be okay coz its only a short drive there. Price was fair too (I would say relatively cheaper perhaps)
Great central location, friendly staff, nice clean room with a fantastic bed and shower. Free parking and a clean pool for the kids to relax in. Great motel to visit Grafton or as a stop off on the way to QLD (like us).
We will be back. Thank you ☺️
we arrived after hours ,and our key was in a well marked envelope ,,with a map showing us how to get to our cabin
all the cabins numbers were large and easy to see ,,especially last at night
we could park right next to our cabin
Unit was a converted house on the property which provided a large, outdoor space under the verandah which also included an outdoor setting of table and six chairs.
Main bed was huge, firm and very comfortable.
Enjoyable B&B experience in a spacious 5 room flat with large back veranda in a 102 year old house. Very friendly owners provided all amenities required and helpful advice on places for meals in Grafton.
Check-in was super easy with contactless check in and the code texted and emailed to us before arrival. Plenty of parking and convenient location to stopover in Grafton for the night.
