Lovely BnB. Phil is a fantastic, friendly host.
Rooms were spacious, very clean and super comfortable beds. I had the pleasure of having the entire floor to myself during my stay and very much enjoyed the sitting room. Breakfast was delicious and the wood fire made me feel at home. I loved this historic building. Highly recommend this beautiful accommodation travelling to Glen Innes

Room, Bed, Fridge, Microwave, Basic Cutlery & Dishes. Liked the Fridge being cold when we arrived. Liked also the extra blankets, pillows, ironing board etc. You care about your Guests !! The shower was hot and had a safety bar for stability. Many, many other accommodations treat their guests not AS WELL AS YOU DO !
The Breakfast was SUPERB - brewed coffee just like I do at home, plenty of cereals to choose from and healthy fruits and juices. Will be back again !
Featuring free Wi-Fi, a tropical lagoon-style pool and a restaurant and bar. All rooms feature air conditioning. The restaurant serves a range of a la carte meals.

The external appearance looks dated, but the rooms themselves were clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. A microwave would have been handy. Reception was open till late, as opposed to the 5pm closing time on booking.com. Nothing flash, but good value for money .Good for a short stay.

Glen Innes is a very interesting town. The information shop was extremely good.A visit to the Granite stones on the hill is well worth a visit. We spent

The town is great and the locals are as well.
The town is great and the locals are as well. The motel is tired and our room lacked maintenance but was clean. We had issues with the shower getting the temperature correct (never) the A/C rattled the windows consistently, the noisy and dirty extraction fan and also missing a cover, the TV remote didn’t work and I couldn’t be bothered trying to get new batteries for it or reporting it. The electric blanket on the LH side worked but only on three, so you cooked. Eating out in town there was plenty of places. I will be more diligent with the ratings for future stays! 7.3 is too high.
Good size room, air con kept us warm. Loved there were actual plates, bowls, cutlery, decent sized coffee mugs and glasses in your room. Nice hot shower. Added bonus was a little note pad and pen. Its just those little extras that helps show they are considering guests. Owner is friendly and helpful. These are new owners who are gradually updating the hotel and highly receptive to constructive feedback, which is very appreciative.
Will most definitely return.
Sapphire Cottage proved a great location for our stay in Glen Innes. Spacious, bright and airy with all you’d need for self-catering. Close to town with a relaxing outdoor area. Loved the wood burning stove and the roses in the large garden. Definitely a decided cut above all those bland country motels. We came to participate in The Goodness Gravel cycling event and will be hoping to stay at Sapphire Cottage again next year.
Beautiful old bank building converted into lovely guest house. Very comfy and spacious. Open fireplace in the shared lounge area. Excellent traditional guesthouse (not motel) style rooms. Shared kitchen for making tea and coffee. Well located in Glen Innes. In the main shopping street, not on the highway. Opposite a traditional hotel and close to cafes and shops. Very friendly and informative host. Breakfast was great.
Location was great. Could walk to everything in town and we spent time in the hotel (meals, bars, coffee shop, breakfast room, verandah) which was a bonus as we had 2 other couples in our group who also stayed at the hotel.
The few staff were very friendly and did what they could to serve us which was hard for them as there weren't really enough staff for all the jobs.
The motel room was quite spacious and had enough room for us two and our two little dogs. The room was clean and quiet. The sheets were nice and soft. And the level of warm/coolness in the room was ideal for us.
We have stayed in other pet motels and this is one of the better ones.
clean room, electric blanket control had black tape on it which meant dodgy, terrible soap and shampoo, no conditioner, old towels, screen door lock broken, terrible milk supplied, the whole hotel needs desperate updating for the price they charge. Chinese owned which says it all.
Is in a quite location, & an easy walk to the main street. The room is clean & tidy, has bunk beds which are a bonus and the main bed is comfortable. These units are good value for money and the staff are extremely friendly.
Will stay again when next passing through Glen Innes.
The location was good. The room was new in appearance. The towels were the whitest I had seen in a hotel in a long time. Hotel staff were very helpful. Dinner on Sunday night was not a broad menu but the food was very good and the waiting staff were helpful.
Continental breakfast included in the room rate was substantial and served in a spacious and clean environment.
Bathroom/toilet was clean and spacious.
Bed was clean and comfortable.
Wifi worked well. Parking at the door of the unit and undercover.
This hotel is very clean. The budget rooms are a little small, but they have everything you need. The continental breakfast and the dining room are very well set up, and an excellent inclusion.
As a guest from Scotland, the hotel was like stepping into a time warp back home. I loved the traditional scottish decor, super authentic. Staff were incredibly friendly and accomodating!
Very neat cabin. All new. Comfortable bed,
All contents and equipment were new. The bathroom was equipped with everything a traveller needs.
I confidently recommend this Glen Innes Motel.
Great location in the centre of Glen Innes. Far enough off the highway so as not to be disturbed by night traffic. Seconds to the Great Central Hotel for a beer.
Glen Innes is a lovely old town with all necessary amenities. Pleasant motel in a quiet street. Plenty of food options within a short driving distance.
Great Breakfast was lovely we were treated like we were family I will definitely stay at the Bank quest house in Glen Innes again didn't want too leave
