It’s an outback pub experience, but after travelling in a car all day and checking into a clean room, large bathroom and the most comfortable bed and pillows, with the amazing ambiance with the antique furnishings, it was truly fantastic. I could have easily rolled over and stayed another night, just to stay in that bed…..

This is nice accommodation for a small outback town, the rooms are adjacent to the local pub and motel reception is at the hotel bottle shop! The hotel is popular with locals but we felt very comfortable in our room and it was quiet, no disturbances at all. Our room was comfy, clean and supplied almost everything we needed. The bed was super comfy, the shower was excellent.

Location was excellent... Away from town. Enjoyed the local birds

Cunnamulla is surprisingly charming for a little outback town. It's unfortunate the top tourist attraction, "All Aboard: Cunnamulla Off the Rails" is closing down, or perhaps has already. (I was fortunate to see one of the last performances of it.) It alone is worth the trip to this remote spot, if you like travelling. Even without it though, it's worth the long journey to see this town.

Cunnamulla is a small country town.
Cunnamulla is a small country town. It used to be more busy than it is now, as a lot of the properties have been bought out by larger companies, with associated decline of permanent population. There are a couple of pubs, a bowlo, an IGA, a couple of cafes and an information centre (which closed half an hour earlier than advertised, so we missed that, along with the displays they had inside).

Cunnamulla is a small quiet little country town.
Cunnamulla is a small quiet little country town. Worth a stay if only to check out the Club Boutique Hotel. What a treat. An old historic pub but great accommodation, clean and modern bathrooms, friendly staff and great meals.

The tourist information centre and its accompanying experiences was excellent. As a retired couple, with limited mobility, it was good that most things were within walking distance. It could have been more enjoyable if we had had a car, as we had to miss out on a couple of interesting landmarks. Would suggest that visitors drive to Cunnamulla rather than rely on the coach service provided by Qld. rail.
The owner /manager was friendly helpful and attentive ensuring everything was going well. Bar and other staff also friendly and helpful.
Dinner by open fire in the main bar or bistro area (which was quieter)was good value.
The rooms had their own ensuite which you don’t often find in the older hotels, so a bonus there.
Cheap accommodation most suitable for a 1 night stay. The owners were super friendly. The dining room offered a great menu and the food was excellent. Our hotel room was very clean. After dinner we had a drink in the public bar and got to chat with some of the locals which we found a great experience.
A wonderful boutique hotel with lots of quirks. Rooms are great for a renovated old hotel. It’s a work in progress but the host is a warm generous lady who serves great home-cooked meals. Don’t expect city 6 star luxury. Go with an open mind and enjoy the country hospitality!
Very friendly staff, especially 'Doug', not sure whether he was the owner or the manager. The pub meals were excellent and very good value . My room was quite large and the bed was very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel as a place to stay in Cunnamulla
Quirky hotel with lots of character. Staff couldn’t do enough - even arranging to have forgotten item delivered to next town 200ks away after we’d left. Great food - very good value. Pretty garden full of flowers.
We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was exceptional. The new owners had taken over the motel three days prior to our stay. They were still finding their feet but they were really lovely people.
The restaurant in the next door hotel was very good for an evening meal and there was a nice cafe in the village for breakfast - which gave me a chance to see what there was to see.
There were some fantastic things about this hotel. The toiletries are L'Occitane - top notch. The bed was wonderful, and the service was really good and really clear.
A lovely country hotel. bed was comfy and it was close to everything we needed. gated parking at rear which was good and the lady doing everything was fantastic.
