The whole place was magical. We loved bathing in the outdoor shower and bath surrounded by tropical plants. We were here not long after cyclone Jasper hit, so most places in Daintree were closed and there were no other guests. We had to cancel a few tours we booked because of the cyclone but we think that was a blessing in disguise since it gave us time to relax, cook delicious meals in the outdoor kitchen, cool off in the swimming hole a few minutes walk away, walk north along the closed road, helped clear some of the deadfall along one of the trails (we volunteered). There were so many different rainforest sounds in the day and at night. The 5 nights we were there we didn’t use our car to get anywhere, other than when we arrived and left! We will be back one day in the future.

Exceeded expectations!! The pictures don't do it justice. The cabins were so cozy and the beds were the best! We left the screen door open to listen to rainforest noises all night.

Providing a garden, Daintree Manor B&B offers accommodations in Daintree. With garden views, this accommodation provides a balcony.

Experience tranquility requires time to seep into your being. Be sure to book enough time, or come early and leave late as hosts and the property are wonderful. The beautiful wood surrounded by nature reminded us of the Serengeti, so close to Eden. Robbie’s breakfasts are reason enough to stay.

Daintree Peaks ECO Stays, hotel in Cape Tribulation

Offering mountain views, Daintree Peaks ECO Stays in Daintree has accommodations, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar.

Greg has done a great job to make his accommodations completely off the grid and eco sustainable. The cabins are well appointed, roomy, and very comfortable. There is a large community area with a billiards table and swimming pool. Food and beverage is also available on site which is very convenient in this rural, yet exquisitely beautiful part of the country. We enjoyed listening to Greg’s stories about his varied adventures abroad as well as appreciated his skills in the kitchen- providing delicious meals with generous portions.

Cape Tribulation and the Daintree Rainforest is one of the most beatiful things I have ever seen. As soon as you cross the river you enter in a different world. The rainforest is so dense that you feel you are in the jungle. And then the beach is really stunning. Just a shame about the salties. If all of this is not enough, the reef there is just amazing. I wish I could spend a year around there

Many restaurants to choose from to eat. Horse riding was fantastic through the rainforest and onto Myall Beach. Beautiful scenery, clean air you can choose to do as much as you like or as little. Just a beautiful quiet part of the world.

Beautiful place … so peaceful, with so much nature to soak in. We took the ferry over and drove the Bloomfield track up to Cooktown and back along the main highway. Actually saw a cassowary with two chicks. No crocodiles though 😁 We stayed at Cape Trib Beach house, which is right on the beach. Food was great and the accommodation was also really good.

Remember to do a small grocery before heading onto the ferry. There's a Woolworths supermarket in Mossman. But if you forget, there's a small friendly grocer in cape trib. Obviously pack insect spray, always carry a bottle of water, sunscreen and a hat. The staff at the restaurants and cafes are very welcoming, friendly, food is amazing, and the whole place is a vibe. Very relaxing, lots of adventures and tours. And the scenery is beyond picturesque.

Cape tribulation is a beautiful place to visit and truly relax with the beauty of the magnificent ancient rainforest and the proximity ro the reef and the ability ro go snorkelling and see the stunnig barrier reef. We drove there which was good as we were able to go to the Daintree discovery centre, and go o amber of boardwalks ,each with their own beauty. The beaches are stunning .Whilst you can't swim here for safety ,you can still swim at waterholes such as Mason's waterhole. We were only there one night and could have easily stayed longer.

    Loved the icecream shop!

Loved the icecream shop! There are two - we went to the Daintree Icecream shop twice in one day! Cape Trib beach at sunset is magical. We swam at the Masons cafe swimming hole but if you have been to Mossman Gorge I wouldn’t bother. We ate lunch at Thorntons the food was delicious and the view incredible.

Our accomodation was very basic & quite rundown but did the job as an affordable base for Cape Tribulation (compared to other ‘budget’ double rooms in the area). Perfect location, beautiful grounds, easy access to the beach. Great cafe across the road. I must mention the lovely lady that was on her 1st or 2nd shift in the bar (around the first week of August) as she was really attentive and on the ball when I could see no one was teaching her how this particular venue worked.. Nice girls in reception too.

Stayed here as the last stop for my parents 3 week trip who were visiting from Ireland. We all fell in love with the place and wished we could have stayed longer! The tropical garden, the beach view and the spacious house were sensational. Dean and & Jodie were so lovely giving us all the info about the area and most importantly how to spot a cassowary! Thank you both so much we had the best time ☺️ Also the lunch in the cafe across the road is amazing too!

Amazing stay at Cape Trib Farm! From the moment we arrived we felt part of the family, every one was so welcoming. The cabins are gorgeous - private and well appointed. The tropical fruit breakfast was definitely a highlight! We were guided through the fruit by Sam and got to try lots of tasty tropical fruits. Merrin gave us lots of recommendations for our stay and even rang ahead of time to warn us about some road closures. Perfect stay!

Easy to find and get there. Lots of lovely discoveries within the property: the discovery trail with with its magic, quirky, statues. The very creative 9 holes mini golf trail in the gorgeous rainforest. The lovely hosts who couldn't be more attentive, looking after you, being helpful and ready to awnser your questions, advice for things to do and have a chat. There's good restaurants nearby, interesting outings, walks, reef Safari eyc.

Staff was very welcoming and friendly, appreciative to have a conversation with you, our room and shared bathroom were both clean, beds were comfy, breakfast at Safari Lodge is very yummy (brekky wraps are the best!) including great coffee. Within walking distance you get convenience store (closing at 5pm), bar, dining restaurant, rainforest walks, beach (do not swim - crocodiles) and lookout points. We will definitely come back.

Honestly we could not have been more impressed. The setting is astonishingly beautiful, the cabins are luxurious and the breakfast is delicious. We thought the bowl of fruit was supposed to last us two days so we were very pleasantly surprised when we got a whole new one the second day! Amazing value, would definitely go back.

Beautiful location right in the heart of where the rainforest meets the beach. There is no wifi at the property but I found this perfect to disconnect and relax - you can take a small 5 minute drive back towards Cape Tribulation for phone service so it is no major issue at all and we really enjoyed our stay at this property.

    · Amazing! Out of the way and a lovely setting! The eco hut meant all sides of your place could be opened up and you could hear animals all day and night! Good separate kitchen with gas grill and cooker! Lovely and helpful family, Andy and Lynette was like a second family. This is the place to go in Daintree rainforest!

Location is excellent - 1/2 way from the ferry to the cape tribulation beaches. Signage good, parking good, gardens lovely, facilities ok. Some getting a bit tired tho - e.g. blind on door in bad state of repair. Activities book needs updating as some venues no longer operating due to covid and staff shortages.

We really enjoyed our stay in Ferntree Rainforest Hotel. The location is amazing: you're going to have a genuine living-in-the-rainforest experience with all these tall trees and eco-cabins around. We're especially pleased about the staff who went above and beyond to make our stay even better. Definitely recommend!

The location was excellent being very close to Cape Tribulation. Accomodation was a whole house set isolated and alone in a clearing in the middle of the Daintree Rainforest which promoted a feeling of being part of it. Extra large open doors and spacious covered verandah added to this.
