De stad is ongeveer 100 jaar oud. Een kunstmatige hoofdstad van een nieuw land. Daar ben je gauw op uitgekeken. De natuur in de omgeving: het park Tidbinbilla en de Botanische Tuin zijn prachtig en het Museum of Australia is een architectonische hoogstandje met een prachtige verzameling. Verder kan je het parlement bezoeken. Dat moet je doen als je van marmer houdt. Sommige vinden ook van dit gebouw de architectuur heel mooi, maar wij waren er niet stuk van. Het lego schaalmodel op de eerst etage is lollig
